Hotel Bergland

This was a return to our favourite hotel for a special occasion and we are so glad we decided to visit the beautiful Bergland for a summer trip. We were greeted with the warmth we are used to experiencing here and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. We stayed in the gorgeous Wellness Suite, with the most stunning view of the mountains. We all loved a morning swim before breakfast, and again later on in the day, using the outdoor pool in the warmth that we are not used to experiencing from our winter visits. The food was delicious, as always in the restaurant, and the service was outstanding. I had an extremely relaxing massage in the sky spa and enjoyed the peace and quiet that the Bergland is so brilliant at delivering in the Spa area. We want to thank all the staff, they truly work as a team and we are so pleased we visited in summer. With the Oztal card you can go up into the mountains and see the gorgeous panarama, so different from the winter. The reception staff also made excellent recommendations for activities, our children enjoying the mountain carts particularly. We were all so sad to leave, and certainly hope to return as soon as possible!

I stayed at Bergland because of my participation in the annual cycle race, Ötztaler Radmarathon. I feel just like at home, I don’t even look for other places to stay when I’m in Sölden.

Very pleasant stay, very nice room, and great spa & pool area. Friednly staff and really convenient quick access to the ski slopes. The food was good, but somehow "tried to much" without fully delivering. Here, "less is more" would do some good.

There is no better hotel than the Bergland! It is such a wonderful experience to stay here and the whole family were so sad when we had to leave! Everything is thought through with so much care and attention. We stayed with children aged 6 & 8 and the Easter hunt was incredible. The special touches delivered to all guests were flawless. We used the beautiful spa each day after skiing and had a wonderful signature massage. The dining room is always a lovely experience and the staff are just fantastic! This was not our first visit, and we really hope to return again very soon!

We had a wonderful seven night visit at the Bergland Hotel. The people make it an extra special place to stay. A huge thank you to Sigi (the owner) and his team! Luciana set the tone as soon as we entered the dining room. She was upbeat, fun, and knowledgable. Jan and Sophie and the rest of the staff are lovely as well. Lorena at the bar is a gem, and Lilla in the spa has magic in her hands. I lost my voice during our stay and Luciana and Lorena were quick to offer me a cup of tea or hot water with lemon. They were attentive without being obtrusive. They treated us so kindly; very kid friendly. The hotel is beautiful, but not stuffy or pretentious. We stayed here with two kids (9 and 14) with a focus on mountain biking (incredible by the way!). You can't beat the location. And the people in the bike shop attached to the hotel are also fantastic. FYI... you will be woken up by church bells at 6am. We loved it! Make sure to sign up for Alpaca Yoga or a hike with Sigi!
