마운트 팔콘 이스테이트(Mount Falcon Estate)

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Mount Falcon for the fifth time, and this wonderful hotel is one of our very favourite places to stay, anywhere in the world. The principal rooms in the original manor house are beautiful, and the cuisine in The Kitchen Restaurant is excellent. The bedrooms in the various buildings on the estate are well appointed and very comfortable. The Boathole Bar is a great spot to enjoy a pint of Guinness or an Irish whiskey, and the expansive grounds of the estate are magnificent. Also, the spa/fitness centre is excellent: just the place to rejuvenate tired muscles after a round of golf or a day spent hiking or fishing. What really sets Mount Falcon apart, however, is the unfailingly friendly and professional service provided by the staff, under the direction of one of Ireland's greatest hosts, proprietor Alan Maloney. While all members of Alan's team are dedicated to pampering their guests, we wish to give a shout-out to the young French sommelier, Max, a charming young man who most certainly knows his way around a wine cellar! As golfers, we use Mount Falcon as our luxurious base camp from which to launch our assaults on the links of Enniscrone (25 minutes), Carne (1 hour), Rosses Point (1 hour), Donegal/Murvagh (1 3/4 hours), Narin & Portnoo (2 1/4 hours) and Lahinch (2 1/2 hours). We know from our experience that staying in one centrally-located hotel is certainly preferable to moving around in a series of 1- and 2-night stands. Mount Falcon is also only 2 hours away from the incredibly scenic Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, with its unique, almost ***** landscape. We definitely plan to return to Mount Falcon sometime in the near future! William Simpson

Absolutely glorious location, beautiful house, and lovely employees. It feels like your own manor house-a peaceful, gorgeous place to slow down and enjoy life. Wonderful breakfast as well. Mount Falcon is one of my favorite places to stay in Ireland.

Wonderful hotel, we stayed 2 nights, I could only book the 1st night online, when I arrived I asked if they had space for a 2nd night, to let me know. We had a quick drink in the bar and the wonderful receptionist had been able to book an extra night in the same room. Really friendly team at the Falcon, wonderful food in the restaurant, Irish breakfast was fantastic. Only minor complaint was the heat in the room, it was hot even with the radiator turned off and the window open, but there was a fan provided in the room. The bed was really comfortable and the room and hotel was clean and tidy, the grounds are impressive. Overall a fantastic stay, I’ll definitely be back.

My stay began in the spa where my therapist worked her magic on me with a full body massage and facial. On hearing it was my birthday, the staff surprised me with bubbles and a beautiful gift from the salon. After checking in to our spacious room we enjoyed cocktails on the green before joining friends for dinner in the restaurant. There was a great buzz and the service was unrivalled. We got excellent recommendations from the staff and the meal was the best meal I have had in a long time. I cannot recommend Mount Falcon highly enough.

Just back from an overnight stay at Mount Falcon. It is set in stunning grounds. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel really welcome. From the spa treatments to the restaurant & bar, the staff could not have done more to make our stay wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. Beautiful spa & leisure facilities. The restaurant is excellent & food Devine. I highly recommend this & will be back as soon as possible

Such a beautiful place! My mum and I stayed at Mount Falcon last week and we will definitely be booking again. Such a peaceful and idyllic escape from our busy lives. We really enjoyed the spa and swimming pool, after a swim we chilled on the loungers, with the beautiful views of the estate and the only sound was of water from the jacuzzi.. It was amazing! Marcus was extremely helpful to us both at the excellent and well equipped gym, we could not have asked for more! He was really approachable, extremely knowledgeable and very happy to help us, he is such an asset to the hotel. The spa is extremely well run and the attention to detail is superb, right down to a member of staff lighting the candles at the pool just before sunset! I honestly don’t think I have ever felt so relaxed. The jacuzzi was amazing. I tend to be very fussy about water temperature but this was absolutely perfect. Dinner was a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Sergio was absolutely wonderful and my mum and I felt so relaxed. His service was excellent and so professional. It would rival Ashford Castle in my opinion. The food was delicious and after dinner, we had a lovely walk on the grounds. Such a perfect stay, thank you so much! I am most definitely booking to stay again next time I’m in Ireland.

this was a very quiet period. but the standard of food and service from the staff was excellent, I would like to pay particular thanks to the Girls in the bar and Sergio in the kitchen restaurant for their help and pleasant conversation throughout our two night stay

Enormous standard rooms with king beds, sitting area, desk and armoire. Huge 4 piece bathrooms with double sinks. Array of amenities in the rooms including large assortment of toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, coffee maker. Windows that open for fresh country air. Gorgeous historic common rooms including a bar and restaurant. Indoor pool and gym. Extensive grounds with walking paths. Accommodation choices include rooms, suites, townhouses and cottages. Falconry demonstrations too!

I had the pleasure of visiting Mount Falcon for a site visit where I met with the lovely Sarcha. The estate itself is truly magical and after hearing the history about the estate I was in awe of what the owners have done to preserve the character and charm of the manor. After generously being offered to have lunch at the Estate, I was taken back by the friendliness and the generosity of the mount falcon team. Home away from Home is the words I will use to sum it up!
