Agriturismo Casa Marmida

A beautiful stay in Casa Mamida. Andrea is an incredibly talented chef! The food is sublime and his attention to detail is first class. A MUST stay if you are in the area. Some wonderful beaches close by and lazy towns to sit and have a coffee watching the world go by! Cannot recommend enough!!!

I stayed in Casa Marmida for 6 nights as a solo traveler. I did my research before I made my reservation so I knew I would be staying in a working far in an agricultural area, away from shops, restaurants and all the hustle bustle. My overall experience exceeded all expectations. The room was of decent size and the shower was hot and powerful. The swimming pool area was beautiful, with mature olive tree nearby and the view of the mountains in the distance. There were lots of different animals only a few steps away - both for farming and entertainment purposes - white donkeys, goats, hens, turkeys, pigs and 3 very friendly dogs. The absolute highlights of my stay, as with many other reviewers, were the dinners. Andrea, owner and chef, really went out of the way to serve up extraordinary dishes utilising simple local ingredients every night. I’d recommend anyone take up the half-board offer as long as they aren’t fussy eaters or with special dietary requirements. I looked forward to the dinner after each day’s hiking, swimming or touring around. Breakfast was adequate. I would’ve liked some fresh fruit but it doesn’t change the fact that I had a fantastic experience. Having read a lot of previous reviews, I think it’s all about being realistic and managing one’s own expectations. Each agriturismo is unique. Each is a working farm, a family home, with generations of traditions. It’s not a standardised product from a hotel chain. If you choose Casa Marmica, or any agriturismo, arrive with an open mind and embrace the authenticity. You’ll have a truly memorable vacation.

We have just had a wonderful couple of days at Casa Marmida. What a fabulous way to start our holiday. The food is spectacular. Andrea cooks with produce sourced from his farm and traditional ingredients native to Sardinia. Such a great way to start learning about Sardinian Cuisine. The farm location is authentic and the pool is stunning. The rooms are super comfortable and very clean. This place is a must if you travel to Sardinia. Loved it!

The rooms are very clean and the service is excellent. The food deserves a michelin star and is better than several london and Paris restaurants with 3 stars. I’ve been to 109 countries and eaten in many of the world’s finest restaurants and this small farm serves food better than most of them. Four courses for €35! It’s a ridiculous price for such excellent food. My only concern about writing this review is that now everyone knows.

Nous avons passé un séjour particulièrement agréable dans ce lieu calme et proche de la nature. L’accueil était très chaleureux de la part de notre hôte, qui gère avec maitrise ce domaine agricole, tout en gardant la main sur un restaurant remarquable. Chaque jour un menu différent nous a été proposé, concocté à partir de produits locaux et de la ferme. Si les Agriturismo étaient référencés par les guides gastronomiques, la Casa Marmida serait étoilée à coup sûr !! Merci à Andréa pour ces magnifiques plats typiques et également à la gentille dame en charge du service en salle, pour les attentions particulières qu’elle réserve à chaque convive. Si vous séjournez en Sardaigne, réservez quelques jours en ce lieu exceptionnel, vous en serez enchantés !!

Ein großartiger Ort für die perfekte kulinarische Auszeit. Jedes Abendessen war ein Gedicht und das Team einfach nur herzlich. Einen Aufenthalt bei Andrea würde ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, wenn man seinem Gaumen und seiner Seele etwas Gutes tun möchte.
