산 마르시아노

The room is small but clean, and you get what you need (hairdryer and shower stuff). The breakfast time is very early and not much a variety of food so we skipped mostly. The location is very close to the Neapolis Archaeological Park but I would prefer to live somewhere closer to Ortigia next time as there are more restaurants and activities going on there. Especially if you don’t have a car, you will have to walk 20+ minutes there which is a torture to walk during the cruel summer. If you want to do laundry, nothing nearby. Also no reception so you will have to call the number upon arrival and wait for the lady to come.

非常不滿意

The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was fully satisfying. The security of the hotel and the rooms was constantly maintained. The host, Chiara, was very kind and helpful. Right opposite the hotel there is a supermarket. Surely recommend!

Check-in was a real pain with host not responding to SMS messages (day before) and not picking up telephone calls on arrival. Did not meet guests as promised in reservation. City Tax was more than stated in reservation (advised 1 Euro but was 2 Euros per person). Rooms are tiny and cannot walk anywhere easily, including teeny toilet room with tiny shower. Cannot even sit on the toilet without opening the shower doors. The matron who makes breakfast not too friendly and only speaks Italian but the continental spread is good, if not weird outside "al fresco" beside the street noise/traffic. TV has lots of channels but all Italian language. Air Con cannot be controlled except off or on. Overall, not recommended except if not much other choice.

Sono stato in questo hotel per un giorno assieme a mio padre. Un ambiente molto accogliente nel complesso. Le stanze sono nuove, pulitissime e dotate di tutti i comfort , c'è anche un bel terrazzino con poltrone e tavolino, il personale gentilissimo, la colazione oltre le aspettative, c'è il parcheggio e inoltre l'hotel si trova in un punto caratteristico e centrale della città. Sicuramente da consigliare e ritornarci!

Ho appena soggiornato al San Marciano con una classe di studenti di una terza liceo scientifico. La struttura è moderna e si trova in posizione strategica, vicino al parco archeologico e alle catacombe di San Giovanni e non troppo distante da Ortigia. La proprietaria è gentile ed accogliente, le stanze pulite.
