호텔 가르갈로(Hotel Gargallo)

이것은 Ortigia가 제공하는 많은 즐거움을 탐험하기에 훌륭한 위치입니다... 바다, 레스토랑, 시장, 상점 및 모든 역사적 명소까지 짧은 도보 거리에 있습니다. 작은 골목길에 위치한 매력적인 오래된 건물로 차량 소음이 눈에 띄지 않아 편안한 숙면을 취하실 수 있습니다. 아침 식사는 다양하고 풍부했으며 두 명의 여성이 훌륭한 서비스를 제공했습니다. 우리의 하이라이트는 우리의 휴가를 가능한 한 매끄럽게 만들기 위해 계속해서 뛰어든 Maria Theresa의 친절함과 전문성이었습니다. 특히 우리는 우리가 출발한 아침에 Catania로 가는 우리 버스를 타기 위해 가장 빠른 택시를 잡는 데 그녀의 도움에 정말 감사했습니다! 그녀와 Andreas - 택시 운전사의 James Bond가 없었다 - 우리는 거기에 도착하지 않았을지 모르지만 우리는 도착했다 - 안전하고 건전하다!! 그라지 밀!

이것은 Syracuse의 구시가지 중심에 있는 매력적인 호텔이었습니다. 여기에서 우리가보고 싶은 모든 곳을 걸어서 쉬웠고 오후에 휴식을 취하기까지했습니다. 꼭두각시 극장이 모퉁이를 돌면 바로 있습니다(꼭 놓치지 마세요!). 호텔은 몇 개의 오래된 건물에 끼어 있지만 우리 방은 쾌적하고 에어컨이 갖춰져 있습니다. 유일한 문제는 샤워를 한 후 미닫이 유리문이 끼어서 혼자 열 수 없다는 것이었습니다. 다행히 남편이 저를 꺼낼 수 있었습니다. 막으려 해도 이런 일이 한두 번이 아니었다. 관리실에 말씀드렸더니 지금은 해결되셨길 바랍니다. 아침 식사는 좋았습니다. 머물기 좋은 곳.

좋은 위치이지만 편의 시설은 거의 없었습니다. 무엇보다도 Wi-Fi와 소년은 Wi-Fi가 필요했습니다. 긴급 상황이 발생하여 서비스를 받기 위해 거리에 서 있어야 했습니다. 그냥 괜찮았어요. 그러나 직원은 훌륭했습니다. .. 그래서 나는 나쁜 리뷰를 줄 수 없으며 좋은 리뷰를 줄 수도 없습니다.

Overall a charming and very welcoming little hotel. The breakfast was a simple but adequate one. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room was a bit unusual. Wi-Fi was very poor. Shower room was basic. That’s the main negatives dealt with. Overall, it’s a beautiful old building which is perfectly situated right in the middle of Ortigia. Everything is within easy walking distance (if you don’t lose your bearings!!) and given its rating as a three star hotel, it’s fair value for money. I expect we will return to Ortigia sometime and would be quite happy to make Hotel Gargallo our base once again.

This hotel has a wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor behind reception. The room has a wet room shower with no hand rails, rise and fall sink with no hand rails, disabled height loo with no hand rails. The loo flush button requires a lot of strength. The beds can be made up as twin or double. The bed was low. There are no accessible features in the room. The corridor from reception to the room is very narrow with tight turning space. The accessible entrance is via the restaurant but this only open morning till 9:30pm. Breakfast is in the restaurant. This has more turning space. Some breakfast items were out of reach.

Great location in the middle of Ortigia Island, but a little hard to find at first because the streets are confusing. You can drive right up to the entrance and drop your bags, even though it doesn’t look like a real street, then park in the lot for 15 euros per 24 hours. The ticket machine is old and hard to figure out….exact amount in cash only! The hotel staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful. Our superior room was on the ground floor, clean, and fairly spacious. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. Furniture is a little run down and probably should be replaced, or is just the end of the season? Bath towels are great. Breakfast was typical with lots of choices, with great espresso made to order. Hard boiled eggs should have been fresher. We recommend this hotel.

The location was very good and the staff was helpful. Our ground-floor room had a nice little courtyard. Unfortunately, the shower was very slippery and had mold in the grout. I don't think the floors were swept while we were there; probably something that should be done when guests are out walking the town every day. We didn't get to see the rooms in the main part of the hotel, so can't comment on them.

It was perfect for us. We were close to the beach and they had a free shuttle to the Valley of the Temples. The parking was very easy also.
