The Heritage Club - Tripura Castle

It's a wonderful property ...great hospitality and food is also amazing . So., if u are looking at photos and don't have the idea what exactly the property offers pls read this review... So property is divided into two vicinity ..one is heritage side and another is new premises...we opted for new premises it has a cafe restaurant and cottages also one villa/queens bedroom adjacent to each other divided by a sitting area ..amazing space for two families..rooms and bathroom are super spacious. One of these room faces valley view and another faces country view . The new side of property is towards valley so there are slopes to be climbed to go to breakfast or anywhere outside of the rooms i would suggest family with elderly people should enquire in detail if going for new property. I didn't get chance to visit heritage wing. So no idea about it. For the hotel ..i would suggest you all to put up latest photos of property as it's beautiful but website is not doing justice. Room service..house keeping staff and weighting staff is courteous polite and pleasent ...chef was kind enough to accommodate every need and customisation of food . It was an amazing stay i would recommend this property if u r visiting meghalay.

I read a lot of reviews stating rude staff, but trust me. Staff is very courteous and Helpful. Great Hotel and amazing stay. We stayed there for 3 nights. It was a business cum leisure trip and we enjoyed the beautiful layout of the property and would definitely recommend.

Me(samindra)wife (nikita) Stayed on 26th to 1st march2025 Dinner was amazing but Ms Wanbha is more then amazing because her innocent face & serve to food &also her manner was fantastic My wife &Me started to call her beta(daughter) & also at breakfast time manager i don't name but she came from Calcutta she is also very very nice As per my filings resort is running with like this type of smiling faces Regards Sam & niki

This is not a hotel! It’s a sprawling complex, on a hill, a little away from the busy Shillong town. The location is very pretty and depending on the category of the room, you could have stunning views from your balcony. The staff is courteous and helpful, and the food is excellent. I am not sure why they do not serve fresh juices for breakfast, considering the abundant availability of locally grown pineapple and oranges. The rooms are a bit iffy. They don’t have windows, if you are claustrophobic, you will have a problem! The furniture, made of wood to give a heritage look, needs maintenance, some of the drawers/doors don’t open/shut properly. Yeah, another tip, do not order room service, by the time the food is delivered, its cold! Not sure why they havent invested in some kind of insulation boxes!

Great place to be have been. Service was outstanding and staff was so polite. Thanks especially to Rahul ji and nerswr. All the best guys and see you soon.
