Due to difficulties at my booked hotel, this was a last-minute replacement. What a delight. It is clearly loved by locals and visitors alike. The rooms are good, and the food, although the menu is small, was well-prepared and always served hot. When I passed the kitchen, it was spotless. The staff seem long-term, friendly and professional. Had three great evenings, chatting in the bar area and outside. Would highly recommend for a stopover. Always ring direct for the best price.

You don’t often see Calves liver.. on a pub menu these days so after checking that it was served pink (it was) I ordered it and it was absolutely delicious. Great range of beers and really friendly service too… Note that last orders for food ate 7:30 pm…

Not as described on social media expectations didn’t meet reality drove 45 min for a sub standard breakfast , waited 35 min for it to come to table and want as expected , there was a egg missing which was then replaced both over cooled no runny yolk , the beans was cold as was the toast the butter was still frozen so could not spread it, the bacon was over cooked , overall a kind drive for a below average breakfast , don’t know what make the orange juice was but it wasn’t nice , by the time our breakfast arrived our tea and coffee was nearly gone as they had gone cold !

What a little gem! Room was spotless, fabulous shower with complimentary toiletries, milk, coffee and tea with biscuits in the rooms and super cosy! Full cooked breakfast in the morning which was superb. Only criticism is the smell (sulphur) of the manifold river when window was opened but that wasn’t the Inn’s fault.

Really excellent. Warm & comfortable room. Friendly & helpful staff. The included breakfast was great: home-cooked full English, one of the best we've had on a hotel break. Location of the Inn was perfect - loads to do nearby. Used a "Buyagift" voucher to book 2 of our 4 nights so it was extremely good value. We shall be more than happy to return for another break here as it made such a good impression. Highly recommended.

We had a 2 night stay at The Manifold Inn and had a wonderful time. The Inn is in a great location for some lovely walks and with two campsites nearby there were plenty of customers around. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean and there is a good choice of food. The service from the staff was amazing. There was a terrible storm (they were sweeping across the country) that led to a 90 minute power cut after dark. In the blackness using their mobile phones they set up lots of candles and continued to serve drinks calmly, professionally and in a very friendly manner. Making sandwiches for dinner guests and promising they would fire up the kitchen as soon as the power went on – which they did, offering the full menu. Thank you! We will definitely stay there again.
