Songzan Linli Xueshan Hupo Jingguan Hotel (Shangri-La Ganden Sumtseling Monastery Scenic Area)

Room was amazing and staffs were friendly. It’s nearby the SongZanLin Lamasery and only 200 meters away from the main entrance.

This hotel gives a very fresh and new first impression. I found out from Quzhen （曲珍）that it only opened in July. The design of the entire hotel is excellent – very chill yet infused with local ethnic characteristics. It's not overly ******* like many guesthouses tend to be; the balance is just right, modern with an artistic feel. It's a place that literary and artistic youths would surely love, with many photo hot spots. Quzhen (曲珍）was my butler for this trip. She is an incredibly enthusiastic girl, providing very attentive service. She was responsive to every request and exceptionally thoughtful. When I felt unwell one day, she immediately arranged for an oxygen tube for me and checked on me regularly. She makes you feel at home. The other staff members are also very warm and friendly. The hotel's location is absolutely top-notch, right next to the Songzanlin Monastery. It takes less than two minutes to walk to the side door. The large floor-to-ceiling window in the room allows you to literally fall asleep looking at the Songzanlin Monastery. It's a highly recommended hotel. If I have the chance to come to Shangri-La again, I will definitely return here. Quzhen (曲珍）feels like a friend waiting for me to come back in Shangri-La. It combines the facilities of a design hotel with the warm service of a guesthouse. I have a few minor suggestions for the hotel: Next time I return, it would be wonderful if there were a few sun-beds on the terrace at the left of the restaurant. Lying there, sunbathing, reading a book while gazing at the Songzanlin Monastery would be super chill. Also, I think the breakfast could offer some Western options, such as bread, fried eggs, sausages, sandwiches, yogurt, coffee & tea etc. Afternoon tea could also be a nice addition. As for the room facilities, everything is very good. It has diffuse oxygen, a humidifier, and many books for reading. It would be perfect if some seating cushions could be added to the bench next to the window along with a small tea table and tea set. In conclusion, the entire experience was excellent. Thank you to every staff member at the hotel, especially Quzhen(曲珍）. I hope to have the opportunity to see you again – my friend in Shangri-La.

In Shangri La, most people would choose to stay on the ancient town side. However, I have chosen to stay at songzhanlin temple side, waking up to this Great Lake view every day. Not to mention the scenery from the room, the hotel itself is a photo spot on level 4, where you get a good view of the temple and the lake. The sunrise view is beautiful, you just have to draw the curtains to see the magnificent morning view. Please do book the rooms with lake view - you can’t miss this. I alsohad some nice wines (from Shang) with the view as well.. the photos cannot lie. The hotel butler (over phone) is very prompt with response and have catered to all our requests and needs. There’s also free temple tickets that come with the room, overall a satisfactory experience — and I would choose to be closer to nature as to staying near the ancient town

Extraordinary but very pleasant hotel with great view, site and service. The rooms are big with very upscale equipment. But style is very pleasant. You feel comfortable at once. View from hotel room is extraordinary. You look at the lake and the Songzanlin Temple. The Restaurant (breakfast) is at the roof, from where you have a great view on lake, temple and village. Breakfast fast is really great. You can choose a lot of dishes which are served at the table. Per room one entrance to temple is included. Temple is quite near (200m). So you have the chance to visit temple before a lot of tourists are coming. Staff of hotel is very friendly and helpful. For us, german family, it was no problem to stay there although we can’t speak one word Chinese language. To visit Gedan Songzanlin Temple it is best choice. 位置：位於松贊林寺大景區內，過去的路上會經過納帕海、Xx措，去之前可以聯繫酒店➕微信以便入景區時協助和工作人員溝通、以及給你發定位。從酒店出發就寺裏步行5分鐘，從後門進就行。酒店和寺在同一側，所以在酒店是看不到寺的正面的。 環境：室外環境美麗如畫，松贊林寺在側，拉姆央措湖再前，落日餘暉倒映霞光熠熠生輝，湖中還有小黑鴨嬉戲，留下一道人字形水痕緩緩擴散開來。室內也非常有格調，基本都是橙黃色的調調，像愛馬仕的高級色調，整體裝修都很新且有品質，房間內的吊頂上陳列的風景照也都非常精緻漂亮。樓頂有餐吧、咖啡吧和休閑打卡拍照的天台。 環境：室外環境美不勝收，清晨時分則從松贊林寺悠悠的飄出寄託對神靈崇敬和祈福的青煙，薩米整個景區沉浸在神聖和莊嚴之中。室內則享受着現代化裝修帶來的舒適同時還能感受藝術作品營造的氛圍。而且每間客房都有加濕器和氧氣、地暖。唯一缺憾就是沒有電視📺 服務：一下車就有潔白的哈達送上，一進屋就有香茶和點心奉上，服務熱情周到。早餐很棒，蛋撻是現做的，雖然是定食，但很豐盛，愛！下次有機會還會選擇他家。
