마레 에 몬티(Mare E Monti)

Nice rooms in challets, near to the beach by foot 2 mins, 2 mins to supermarket, 5 mins to restaurants, quick wi-fi connection, very nice receptionist, beautiful garden, the only negative thing is noisy airconditioning in the room right above your head

Awful management, when I said I wanted to change room because it was not as described, the manager got very cold, he did not even apologise. Rooms where dirty. A nigh**are. I will never go back again in this place. The only positive point is the location, really close to the sea in a small village. Gardens are well maintained.

Really regretting our decision to stay at Mare e Monti as the accommodation was dirty and uncomfortable . We were shown to our room, 1 double bed and single bed cramped in the corner, the beds sheets were clean.. but that’s about it! The pink blanket on the top of the beds were filthy, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed and was full of sand, dust under and on top of small fridge and months and months of dust on the top of the wardrobe. The small deck hadn’t been cleaned either and the white plastic furniture all stained did not make it an attractive place to relax. The bathroom had been renovated some time ago but the tiles grout in the shower and around the toilet was black with mould and dirt. Also, we struggled to open and close our door as the key would not turn in the lock. One lightbulb above the bathroom sink did not work from day one, we did report it but it was never changed. We had to ask for bath towels almost everyday as the cleaner constantly forgot to leave some. And the toilet paper, one roll as the time…. Times are hard but at 1400 euros for the week, you would think you get a little more. The receptionist came to the room just after we checked in as we complained it hadn’t been cleaned. She acknowledged the state of the place and sent back the cleaner. It was a little better but still not great. On the 3rd day I spoke to the owner/manager, showed him the photos of the bathroom…. His response was unprofessional as he kept telling me that he couldn’t get staff to clean, and it had been so tough for them with the pandemic…. It has been tough for everyone, us included, and it’s just a matter of keeping the place tidy, clean and safe during a global pandemic which was completely ignored at Mare e Monti. He did offer for us to have free breakfast, but we went to local Boulanger for ours, he did not offer a reduction on the final bill. After many excuses, he finally said in would send the cleaner for 1 hour. It was cleaner but the damage had already been done. The dark on dark wood and dirty floors make the room feel smaller and dark. Impossible to set the air con temperature making too cold. We did not look forward to go back there each evening and felt tired as the we couldn’t get decent sleep all because of the poor state of the place. Managers/owners of small businesses can also grab a pair of gloves, sponge and cleaning products and lead by example. Not the case at Mare e Monti, but still happy to take our money.

Personnel et patron très accueillants et sympathiques. De bons conseils pour les activités et restaurant aux alentours. Mise à disposition de kayak. Chambre au confort simple, salle de bain impeccable, terrasse très agréable. Idéalement situé à quelques mètres de la plage.

Attention la plus grosse bande de menteur du monde.⚠️⚠️⚠️ Réservation booking annulée direct après qu’on ait payé le séjour. (comme cela l’hôtel ne paie pas booking) et comme cela on pourra pas faire de mauvais commentaires à la fin de notre séjour. De plus, nous perdons nos avantages genius sur booking. Le chalet ne correspond pas à ce que l’hôtel loue. Il y a deux locations par chalet. Aucune insonorisation, les draps étaient sales et avec des poils à notre arrivée, le sol était crasseux, le mélangeur d’eau de la douche fonctionnait mal, le wifi (wlan) fonctionne très mal, vous n’aviez le droit qu’à un seul accès wifi par chambre, la clef du chalet ouvre plusieurs autres chalets, la tv a des coupures toutes les 2 minutes, toile d’araignée et logement poussiéreux, climatisation au dessus du lit 🙁et qui fait du bruit, système incendie qui clignote face au lit). Nous avons demandé une facture à la fin de notre séjour (mais après 2 heures d’attente, 5 téléphones au patron (boîte vocale) et un appel à la gendarmerie, rien toujours rien) (comme cela: mise à part le paiement bancaire nous n’avons aucune preuve de notre séjour). Il nous ont dit qu’on allait recevoir la facture par e-mail mais j’attends de voir. Après avoir râlé le lendemain de notre arrivée, puisqu’on a remarqué leur micmac avec booking et avoir dit au patron qu’on avait appelé booking, le patron a essayé de nous amadouer avec 2 bières gratuites (qu’on a pris c’est déjà ça ). Le patron nous a rendu 125€ cash (sans ticket à nouveau) sur les 1650€ qu’on avait payé. Nous avons donc rendu les clefs du notre chambrette (nº15) et sommes partis ! Attention ⚠️ Arnaque à touriste. Les saisonnières sont de mèche avec l’arnaque du patron et ont mille excuses pour tout. Mise à part cela elles tiennent le coup. Le patron vaut ne mieux pas en parler il n’en vaut pas la peine. Un point positif, la mer est à moins d’une minute de marche, un magasin aussi.

Petit coin de paradis, pas surpeuplé. L’hôtel est très agréable au milieu de la nature… dur d’en partir

Super endroit, les bungalows sont sympas et bien placés., propres et agréables avec une belle vue sur la mer, une belle végétation environnante. Le personnel est très accueillant, efficace et de très bon conseil... Je recommande cet endroit. Très bon qualité prix

La struttura ha un potenziale importante e una bella posizione a 30 mt dal mare. Bisogna attraversare una strada, ma è semplice. Tutto il complesso dovrebbe essere rimodernato, e curato nei dettagli, tavoli comuni, sedie complementi vari. Le camere/bungalow sono semplici. La pulizia interna essenziale, quella esterna, andrebbe approfondita. La colazione, tasto dolente, completa ma totalmente industriale: marmellata panini, yogurt e croissant. Suggerisco di renderla più “vera” considerato il posto è considerato che viene pagata a parte, fra l’altro su spazi comuni organizzati con sedie di pelle finta e vista su tavoli accatastati. Tavoli un po’ maltenuti di cartone compresso. Personale molto gentile e giovane, il titolare, vista la sua esperienza e passione per la natura, dovrebbe organizzare qualche escursione per gli ospiti. Renderei più vissuto e piacevole lo spazio di fronte alla reception dove non si può parcheggiare, mettendo sedute e/o due giochi per i bambini e migliorerei l’esperienza serale con luci e sedute fronte bungalow

Jeudi 18 août 2022. Jour de dramatique tempête sur la Corse. Partis de Calvi à 7h00 du matin pour un événement familial, nous avons été contraints de rebrousser chemin en route, impossible de rejoindre le sud de l’île. Nous avons prévenus l’hôtel de l’impossibilité dans laquelle nous étions de venir dès 8h00, mais malgré les circonstances exceptionnelles, les routes coupées, les rafales à 200km/h rendant les 4h00 de route inenvisageables, malgré tout ça et le caractère dramatique de l’événement, rien à faire, l’hôtel a refusé d’annuler notre réservation et de nous rembourser. Dans ces circonstances tout à fait imprévisibles, leur politique commerciale a été en-dessous de toute forme d’ empathie…
