Crystal Family Resort – Not What We Expected, But Tours Were Fantastic! We spent our holiday this year at Crystal Family Resort & Spa. The hotel’s location and facilities for children were nice. The indoor pool was sufficient, and the animation team did their best. However, the hotel as a whole didn’t quite meet our expectations. Our biggest disappointment was definitely the food. It felt like we were eating the same things every day: beef liver, chicken, chicken, fish once or twice… and then back to chicken and liver again. It was as if no other types of meat existed! There was almost no red meat, and most of the food was dry and lacked flavor. Our kids also struggled with the meals, as there wasn’t much variety or a special corner catering to their tastes. The buffet looked big but the content was poor. Desserts looked good visually but were quite tasteless. From a five-star hotel, we expected much more care and quality. Room cleaning was okay – it was done daily – but there were occasional misses. Sometimes the minibar wasn’t restocked, towels were forgotten. The reception staff were generally helpful, but during busy hours responses were slow. The spa area was nice, but prices were a bit high. Now to the best part of our vacation: the tours! Instead of staying inside the hotel all day, going out was the best decision we made. As we had done before, we booked two tours from Sputnikturkey.com, and both were excellent: 1. Super Combo Tour – rafting, zipline, buggy… All in one and full of adrenaline! Even though the weather was cold, it was still super fun. 2. Green Canyon Tour – A calm and peaceful boat trip in nature. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Both tours were very well organized, and the price was much more reasonable compared to what the hotel’s in-house tour desk offered. We had a great time and the tours helped us forget the hotel’s shortcomings. In summary: Crystal Family was just “so-so” for us. We really didn’t enjoy the food — the constant liver and chicken dishes became annoying. But thanks to the amazing tours we booked outside, our holiday turned out great in the end. We wouldn’t return to this hotel, but for tours, our go-to will always be SputnikTurKey.com!

Ich habe das Hotel Crystal aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen für mich, meinen Mann und meinen Sohn gebucht und für 2 Nächte 1.325 € bezahlt – leider war es eine große Enttäuschung. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und in einem schlechten Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist alt, vieles wirkt ungepflegt oder beschädigt. Aus der Klimaanlage tropfte Wasser, was sehr störend war. Auch das Essen war enttäuschend: wenig Auswahl, geschmacklich schwach und nicht frisch. Leider hatten wir danach alle Magen-Darm-Beschwerden mit Erbrechen und Durchfall. Wie dieses Hotel so gute Bewertungen bekommen hat, ist für mich absolut unverständlich. Wir würden definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

We stayed here as a family with my elderly parents and 8-year-old son and had a lovely time overall. The location is great, and there’s an amazing variety of food and drinks. Cleaning was excellent, except the beach, which could have been better maintained. We had a few room issues (fridge, air con, TV, toilet) that were quickly resolved. Some staff spoke limited English, but someone was always available to help. The hotel lacks a few services like currency exchange and international calls. Good value for money, though it feels more like a 4-star than a 5-star hotel.

Bad cleaning in restaurant, tables and chairs sticky and dirty, sometimes it was difficult to find a clean place to sit, some personal so lazy and grumpy, amination team so sneaky and asking guests for alcoholic drinks, some evening program was nice but most of the time very boring, live music not possible to listen to because of bad singer. Restaurant chef Nur very nice person, so kind and helpful. Tugay, Emirhan and Alicia great team in restaurant. Lobby bar staff Meysam, Zilan, Furkan, Silan so cheerful and kind people Mr. Pianist was amazing, love listening o his songs Hairdresser very arogant and extremly expensive

We have come for 10 days , we are really enjoying ourselves and the staff are amazing , they can’t do enough for you ! I would def rate it 5 star, cocktails are amazing and intertainment is awesome ! I’ll be doing the karaoke tonight with isa! Really can’t say anything negative as everything in the hotel is great and beach is 200 metres beside the hotel, only one little thing is that the hotel is out of the way but that’s it !

This is a completely honest and open review. Absolutely wonderful resort,right on great private beach,delicious food,great indoor and outdoor pools,kids well catered for,excellent professional entertainment. Superb value for money. So why,I hear you ask,only afford this hotel 3 stars. Well a few things are totally misrepresented. If you watch reviews on YouTube there are tennis courts and football pitches at side of hotel.no there aren't !!! It's a derelict wasteland. Minor problem unless you are into tennis or football but definite misrepresentation. Secondly, the hotel says belek area. It's a good half an hour on twisty turning,pot holes roads !! Belek is just giant hotels and bazaars.didnt find anything else there apart from building sites. Not a big problem as resort is so good but a little honesty about distant belek and Antalya would be good. Lastly,and this is a personal observation which intensely irritates me. Turkeys attitude to smoking is third world to put it kindly!!! Smoking everywhere is allowed even in children's area. Disgusting. Open area of restaurant has a smoking area. No problem except you have to walk through it to get to the buffet. Also when smokers leave they walk through the non smoking area often with their cigarettes or worse still alight!!! Such a shame because if turkey wants to be treated as a first world country, they have to end this disgusting attitude to smoking. Turkey, the civilized world has moved on from these attitudes!!!
