It was a fabulous stay for our company retreat! We really appreciate your warm hospitality. Thanks for Mr. Saiful and all the staff for making our family day memorable. Food was excellent (esp the BBQ under The Star) for our company annual dinner and all the staffs were very accommodating at making sure our stay was perfect. The location and design of the place is beautiful, and we had lots of fun at the ATV and the whole pool to ourselves for our company retreat. Will definitely come back again. Keep up the good work team!

This property looks over a lush green forest and beautifully designed. It is quite obvious that it has seen its best days. But property maintenance is very poor that some corners and spaces are not properly cleaned. For example, the carpet in the bedroom I stayed in smelled musty and was collecting dirt and lizard poop. The wooden floor area at my left bedside was unrepaired and almost caved in. The outdoor garden beside the bath tub was unkept and was full of random plants and dirt. If not of the beautiful design and the Instagrammable quality of the scenery, this property is beyond redemption. Add to that the lack of variety of food choices which actually destroys your gastronomic cravings given that the place is so far away from everything else. It could have been a good weekend retreat, but sadly, the price does not meet your expectations.

Cet hôtel est vraiment délabré et sale, le personnel d’une nonchalance ostentatoire et détestable. Le lobby est sale, tout comme la chambre, la salle de bain ou la piscine. Les draps sont jaunes. Il faut marcher pieds nus mais ils deviennent vite noirs de crasses. Le dîner « mare II » ne tient pas ses promesses : pour 600 RM c’est absolument un scandale. Ne cherchez pas le caviar, il n’y en a pas. Tout est usurpé ici. Nous sommes heureux de n’avoir réservé qu’une seule nuit et de partir ce matin. Ce ressort a du être beau quelques temps à sa construction mais il est maintenant complètement délabré. L’atmosphère de la jungle ne se fait pas sentir, juste une vue sur quelques arbres. Vraiment ne craquez pas et passez votre chemin.

We were meeting with our friend and their family after many many years and we now have brilliant memories at your resort. The food was fabulous. The high tea, breakfast and dinner were great. Lots of time for games and the staff has gone out of their way helping with medicine and ice-cream! Thank you 🙏🏽

Definitely enjoyed our stay. A great way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life whilst enjoying a phenomenal scenery in peace. Delicious food and hospitable staff.

Although most reviews for this place are positive, unfortunately our experience was quite negative. While the location and the environment are beautiful and relaxing, the lack of management and security ruined our stay. My wife and I went here right after our wedding to relax, and while we sat outside having dinner, a member of the staff went into our room and stole the money we had received for our wedding. Our room had multiple entry doors and could not be locked from our side. There was a door directly out to the front entrance that we could not lock on our side. While the management did return our money, our trip was ruined and the lack of security or ability to keep people out of our room is a reason to never return. The person who stole must’ve watched where we put our money, as they did not touch our wallets, credit cards, or jewelry, but went directly to the envelope they had seen us pull money from. We will no longer trust people because of their kindness, and we recommend being on guard if staying here. I hope others can have a good experience here, but be aware the there is a complete lack of security or safety, and rarely any sort of management on the premises.

Nice resort with the nature view, peaceful and quiet . friendly staffs guided and helped us along the stay It’s hot season now , thankss to resort upgraded our room to airconditioned as we dont know the room type we booked is open air type. Everything was just good

Loved our stay at shorea. We took Cassie suite which comes With a private pool for our Wedding Anniversary . Loved the ambience and the dinner was Good .Very pleased With the Service rendered by Ms. Nabila. Overall Its was a good stay. Will surely be back again .
