We recently spent four wonderful nights at Barrister's Bed and Breakfast in the historic town of Seneca Falls to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Owners Ken and Diane are very welcoming and the ultimate hosts, thinking of your every need and striving to make every bit of your stay enjoyable. We stayed in Erin's Retreat and loved the comfortable king size bed, roomy separate sitting area and nice shower. Ken and Diane provide all the little touches and extras and seamlessly go the extra mile. The locally-sourced three course breakfasts were outstanding and served on nice china with coffee, tea and juice options. Among our favorites were the baked pear, lemon cake and creative quiches with sides such as asparagus wrapped in pastry and grilled watermelon with prosciutto and special sauce. Ken and Diane also surprised us with a cake and card for our anniversary ... a very thoughtful gesture. Barrister's Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located with a short walk to the town, where we visited the Women's Rights Hall of Fame & Museum and dined at various restaurants, all very hospitable with great service. We also did day trips to various wineries, a cidery and a local farm for a cheese tasting, along the Seneca, Cayuga and Keuka Lakes. We also highly recommend Captain Fred's Falling Waters Boat & Falls experience, with a boat ride on Seneca Lake & access to Hector Falls from Captain Fred's private patio adjacent to the falls (with wine and cheese too). We highly recommend staying at Barrister's Bed and Breakfast when visiting the Finger Lakes, where Ken and Diane will make your stay a very memorable one!

Very friendly place and all the rooms are done up nicely. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch with my morning coffee. Breakfast consisted of a homemade pastry, fresh fruit, roasted potatoes, locally homemade bread for French toast, juice and coffee or tea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Barrister's with Ken and Diane. We were greeted with beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality. Breakfasts were very delicious. Lots of history to explore in Seneca Falls, the Women's Hall of Fame, SF Visitor's Center, and the Seneca Falls Historical Society. It was a great relaxing getaway. Delicious chocolate chip cookies each day!

Our first ever visit to a B&B and we loved it! Diane was able to book us a couples massage our first night there. Our room was cute & cozy and loved having the whirlpool tub to relax in. The breakfasts were unbelievably delicious and so filling we skipped lunch. Ken &Diane were so friendly and hospitable. We’d like to come back with our friends in the summer!

I can’t say enough about the fantastic stay we had at Barrister’s! Ken and Diane were amazing hosts who made you feel like old friends. Their recommendations were spot on as well. Accommodations were comfortable and spotless. We look forward to return visits! Thank you!

Ken and Diane made our experience at Seneca Falls one we will remember for a long time. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts but this one is truly unique. You feel like you have come home and are visiting family members when you are there. They have truly perfected the art of “hosting” and we would recommend their home to everyone. The food was delicious and Ken explained all the courses along with the ingredients he used to make them that way. Our room was not particularly large but it was certainly adequate and the remodeled bathroom was beautiful. Having the history behind the previous inhabitants made our stay even more meaningful. We hated to leave and we lingered on the porch saying good bye to Ken and Diane. Unfortunately it is a long way from our Seneca, SC, but if we ever get back that way we absolutely know where we will be staying.
