Refrigerator was broken, cracks in ac unit you can see outside, window in bathroom knobs were broken and sitting in window! Room smelled like hospital and a surprise security deposit of additional $150.00! Whole experience horrible never again

Great renovations to the hotel with real wood finishing and local art and themes. Comfortable with great free breakfast.

A motel and close to highway. Hmm. Turned out to be great! King room with comfortable bed and chairs. Step in shower. The included breakfast at the restaurant down the hill.

We stopped at Travelodge to sleep on our way to Connecticut from Missouri.The lady at the front desk was amazing and took care of all our needs, offering us extra towels, snacks and explained the free breakfast at the nearby diner(which we ate the following morning and it was delicious!). The room itself was spacious and modern yet cozy and incredibly clean. The bed was very nice and comfortable after being on the road all day and I slept incredibly well. I will be saving this spot for my future adventures and will be recommending it to my friends and family as well.

Amazing hospitality from the staff with a newly remodeled facility. Great place to stay while here.

Newly renovated throughout, the motel is clean, nicely located, and equipped as described with very comfortable bedding.

Travelodge must have recently acquired this property because it looked like it had a recent remodel with new furniture but the remodel team left before they got the kinks worked out. First major problem is they have only one small sign on the truck plaza marque showing that there is a Travelodge somewhere in the vacinity. Otherwise, the sign pointed to the "Emlenton Motor Lodge." We had to drive around and stop and ask several times to be certain that the "Emlenton Motor Lodge" was, indeed, the Travelodge. Weird! Our GPS didn't get us there either. Once we found the place and got in our room, we found that the bathroom door didn't close, the entry door wouldn't glide over door mat (had to move it out of the way), and the bathroom sink only had warm water--no cold. The refrigerator froze all our drinks and food. The woman running the place could be reached by phone and was responsive but the front desk was unmanned. Noise from I80 could still be heard inside our room but, fortunately, quieted down after 11 p.m. So, we wouldn't stay here again until they finish the remodel. Then we would only stay here if we could get a room at the wing of the motel away from the highway.

What a delightful surprise this motel was! I tend to stay away from many motels as they’re often rundown. Not the case here. It’s completely renovated, clean and charming! Beds are very comfortable. The area is off the interstate, but you don’t notice as the motel is surrounded by trees and a grassy lawn, very peaceful. An old school restaurant is next door which we enjoyed for simple all-American dining. Definitely a recommend over the typical off-interstate hotel hubs. Will definitely return!

Super clean modern rustic motor inn. Says "TRAVELODGE" but its the Emlenton Inn, important when you look for it. Super welcoming staff, large spotless rooms with nice decor, charming. Looks all new. My new place to stay.
