Lovely authentic castle stay, room was exactly like a castle room, dinner was very pricey for what you get, not worth the money. Breakfast was solid with cold meats, cheese, eggs and some pastries Used the common area for afternoon glass of wine. Nice fireplace but staff said no to making a fire sadly even though it was freezing. I wouldn't stay more than a night but good location to visit surrounding towns.

The absolute best night I had in Italy. The castle was amazing and the view spectacular. Everyone was super friendly and Marco went above and beyond welcoming us, giving us a tour and helped make our stay extraordinary. I would highly recommend staying here.

Definitely a 10/10 stay! Wonderful staff, beautiful location, incredible castle, renovated bathroom and delicious breakfast!! Worth the trip up the mountain. Must stay! Marco was the best and definitelywent above and beyond !!!!!!!!!!

the place is in generalis nice, quiet ,might need some updating, wonderful breakfast ,and overall the people managing the place, very helpful and specialy with our dog...In general is worthy to go in there f,as a place to base for excursions around .

We stayed in one of the apartment at Casa Fumata: a lovely rustic Umbrian style house with a magnificent panorama. A magic surprise at night, fireflies illuminating the garden. Free access to the well kept swimming pool, was very welcome given the high temperature. Staff was always helpful and ready to answer any request. Our flight would arrive well beyond their regular check in time, but they accommodated and awaited for our arrival to check us into the apartment, Giomici Castle is well worth a visit, I would recommend to book at least on breakfast there for a unique experience. Abbiamo passato 6 giorni in uno degli appartamenti di Casa Fumata, una bella casa in stile rustico Umbro con un panorama magnifico. Una sorpresa magica di sera: lucciole che illuminano il giardino. Libero accesso all bella piscina è un altro punto a favore, specialmente viste le temperature di questi giorni. Il personale attento e gentile, sempre a disposizione per ogni richiesta. Il nostro volo arrivava ben oltre il loro normale orario di check in, ma ci hanno aspettato e di persona accolto nell’appartamento. Il Castello di Giomici merita una visita, e consiglio di prenotate almeno una colazione al castello per un esperienza unica. Grazie !
