Great overnight stay for a stop off. Had a lovely walk into the town, great location. Free breakfast, was upgraded to a balcony room which was spacious and clean. The hotel decor is beautiful, lots of plants. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the two reception staff we met to the restaurant staff. Bedding was very comfortable and the shower was huge with a seat! Will most certainly return.

We stayed here for 2 nights while hiking. We had the chance to experience 2 different rooms as we had one before the hike and one after the hike. One was in the main building and one was in the unattached residence. The hotel grounds and the views surrounding the place are amazing. There is a nice little restaurant on the property that had a lovely European breakfast buffet and you could have dinner there also. The food was very good. I would recommend anyone staying in the area to stay there as you won’t be disappointed.

It's like my home away from home! I can't wait to come back! The room was awesome, the food was fantastic and I was treated like family! I love staying here and usually come once a year but I think it will be more frequent the year! I found the ideal room and that made it incredible!! I highly recommend staying here!!! A wonderful experience!

I am a German teacher who brings students from my level 3 class to Germany. We love going to visit Schönau am Königsee. This year, the hotel I had booked with a year in advance, plus checking the reservation twice this spring, had lost our reservation. I stood in the parking lot with 20 teenagers and 5 adults and nowhere to go. Fortunately, we were pointed in the direction of Stoll's Hotel Alpina. They found rooms for the entire group for 2 nights. The students were in heaven. The pools, the gym, the rooms, the food, the setting... Everything was amazing! I love this place and will return!

What a quaint hotel (resort) located near Berchtesgaden in Germany. It's very comfortable and relaxing to sit in the common areas to visit and have a drink. The rooms are updated, clean and beautiful. Don't miss the turquoise colored river on the drive to the hotel! We felt very fortunate to discover this wonderful get-away.

Good location to visit Berchtesgaden, the Konigsee, the Eagles Nest. And for hiking and walking. The pool looked nice but we were here in September and believe it or not it snowed in the heights and rained non stop during our stay. We were unable to use the garden or pool, sadly as they looked nice. The hotel rooms were roomy and comfortable except the bath was about the smallest I had ever seen. Difficult to use, no room to set any toiletries out, toilet practically touching the shower glass. I also am not sure it has air conditioning. We needed the heat during our stay, but I didn’t see AC. The breakfast was good. Had most anything you’d want. We had dinner there one night and were pleasantly surprised. The food was quite good. The service fine.
