The place gives you a cosy and a peaceful vibe. We were a group of 17 people The staff is prompt . Service was good . Food is delectable with a great buffet in breakfast and dinner . Our breakfast boxes that they packed for us exceeded our expectations . What a thoughtful gesture . Would love to come back .special thanks to Mr Shyam Choudhary from the restaurant who took care of us so well . Chef Dinesh Choudhary who treated us with sumptuous food, chef ram Sahay and Laxmi Narayan . Last but not the least Mr Rakesh Choudhary . Keep up the great work. If possible please go for the REGAL VILLAS on the ground floor.

This NOT a 4 star hotel. Staff are nice. Food is ordinary. Furniture is out of the Ark. One plus is they have a lovely outdoor shower in some rooms. massive - nice! It is situated away from anything. Imagine Holidays dumped us in this place instead of The Tigress or the Sawaii Villas.

Lovely staff, however hotel in urgent need of some tlc very tired and worn. Appreciate it is coming to the end of the season but certainly not worth a 3 star review even. Food mediocre and bland. Restaurant like a work canteen. Pool area needs attention

The hotel was good, but didn't compare well with other similar standards that we had stayed at ***** the way. Rooms were comfortable with outside shower. Buffet choice was very limited. Outside patio and garden areas were great for coffee and drinks in the shade, but empty glasses and moved chairs/tables were slow to be straightened up. No female staff evident at all!

We stayed here from 1st March for a few days. Nice hotel, lovely grounds, very friendly and helpful staff. We had a room in what appeared to be a new block so the finishing touches weren't apparent such as to clean down surfaces and the floors to remove what looked like grout powder or suchlike. That said, it didn't spoil our stay. My goodness, the beds and especially the pillows were exquisite and much needed after several long, bumpy and at times hair raising jeep safaris! Food was plentiful with a good selection and their fresh naan breads were to die for! Overall customer service was great: everybody was so kind and couldn't do enough for us. Packed breakfast was provided on our last morning as we had to leave very early. The evening before departure, the ***ager asked us to choose what we wanted in it which was greatly appreciated. There was plenty of it too! There were two delightful young members of dining room staff who stood out because of their kindness and professionalism: Jitu Kumar and Laxmi. What a pleasure it was to have met them. Do please thank them for us and we hope they go on to have great success in their future careers.

Simple luxury....food was good and the bedrooms lovely. The staff could not have been more helpful. First jeep safari there and we had a tiger walk right across in front of the jeep....unreal. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a great experience

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had, anywhere. It was spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable, with friendly service throughout. It's close to both entrances to the park so you don't have to drive too far to get in. We were lucky enough to see tigers two days in a row. All in all, a memorable experience and one that I highly recommend to other travelers.

This was a very comfortable hotel in the jungle. The rooms were very adequate with large washroom/shower and small private sitting area back and front. The outside was rustic and fitted well into the jungle setting. Beautiful landscaping on different levels with well maintained pool and surround. Food was varied for all palates and staff helpful and friendly.

This accommodation totally fits in with the Safari scene but could do with a lot of maintenance. This does actually look to be in progress though which is a big plus as the whole place has huge potential. Rooms are huge and that applies to both sleeping area and bathroom. It’s the attention to detail that is lacking. It is possibly clean but can’t look like it when the grouting needs re-doing, showers have scum on basin and tiles, floors and flooring is cracked or stained, sockets hang loose or don’t work, dirt in corners, old furniture and the main thing for me, was the shower head needed to be de-scaled as the spray didn’t direct itself downwards, but went in all directions including over the shower screen and made a shower without getting hair wet, impossible. Food is fine though and served buffet style. Choices are good and change a bit each day. The serving staff are helpful and constantly topping up food as it nears being finished. Good opportunity to try some traditional food without it being your main meal. This is *****side the familiar items such as eggs – to order, fruit, yogurts and bread at breakfast. Soup at lunch time and 2 choices of soup in the evening. Tea and coffee is provided throughout the day with a late afternoon tea in time for the returning Safari goers ***** side cookies pre safari and a hot offering in the afternoon. Coffee is instant though. Drinks menu is nice – wine is very expensive, other drinks not so bad for in hotel. Pool area is adequate with sufficient loungers and chairs available. Wi-fi is temperamental and we had to reconnect with new passwords about twice a day. The toilets by reception are pretty bad and one day didn’t seem to be cleaned at all as the soap, toilet paper etc wasn’t replenished and stuff on the floor remained until the next day!! I do think this is the Ranthambhore Standard though and unless you go ‘luxury’ then this is what you will get during your safari stay. They issue blankets in the morning when you go out – take these as once the truck starts to move, it’s very chilli first thing. I did have a decent stay though and if comparing would say 3* but has potential for better.
