It has a wonderful location with absolute tranquillity. It is important to know that locals also live in the village. On the Aethos site, it appears that the entire complex concerns the hotel. This is not the case. Only a small part belongs to Aethos. The reception didn't seem very professional. There was no one there to take our suitcases, the briefing was rather casual and had no professional touch. A word from the hotel management would have been nice - if they even exist? We were given room number 9. The furnishings at Aethos are very tasteful. Big praise to the interior designers. It would have been great to see more of it in room 9. We didn’t feel the Aethos vibe in this room. To everyone - I can't really recommend this room. The layout in the room is a bit difficult as there is no space for clothes and suitcases. There is no balcony or terrace and it has no view. So avoid no. 9! It is the less attractive one comparing what you see on the website. Aethos in Seragano basically only lives from its restaurant. Everything else is rather neglected. The complex is getting on in years. You can see this especially when you look at the details. The reception looks unkempt, not tidy and the items for sale there are also carelessly curated. The outdoor area next to the restaurant is very carelessly designed. Tables are placed randomly on the terrace, no flowers on the tables, no bar, no drinks service and above all no staff to make your stay pleasant. You have to look for someone for every drink. If you are lucky the restaurant is open. Maybe we were unlucky and most of the staff was in sick leave? The restaurant is very good. The staff are more than friendly, even if they seem overwhelmed by the small number of tables and make this clear. (Should be avoided) The food is of course excellent, but the portions are unfortunately too small for the price, so you have to order more bread (extra cost) to fill up. Would be nice if there were normal portions. It is interesting that the staff in the restaurant wear a very tasteful uniform. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff do not. Again, please don't misunderstand, but the promise that Aethos makes on its website is a different one. A certain luxury requires a certain elitism, unfortunately there is no other way nowadays. The path to the pool is unkempt. The pool house is dirty, the furniture in it is broken, the gym equipment is dirty and pushed into the corner. More like a storeroom. The toilet facilities are extremely unkempt. The showers in particular are not in good condition.
