Beautiful, private rooms with the best caldera view. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and had a private outdoor pool/hot tub. There are many hotels in the area offering similar rooms, however the privacy of this room is what makes it stand out. Some of the more expensive hotels in the area have rooms on the walking path to Fira with no privacy. The staff at the hotel are so helpful and friendly. The maids are amazing and do such a good job as the hotel is immaculate. Pool towels provided every day if you want them. I will highlight that the rooms are quite rustic and did have some flaws including shower water going cold quickly and inconsistently. The outdoor hot tub also only has jets on for 1 minute maximum so it is more of a plunge pool than a jacuzzi. Other rooms in the hotel do not have the same level of privacy and may be on the fira path so best to check when booking. Be aware if you have mobility issues this hotel (in particular honeymoon suite) will not be for you as there are a lot of steps to get anywhere. We didn’t have the breakfast at the hotel, but we did order lunch sandwiches and the pesto/prosciutto baguette was delicious. Overall, the views from this hotel cannot be beaten and we would not consider staying anywhere else for our next visit to Santorini!

Everything about my stay at Afroessa in Imerovigli was absolutely magical, and perfect location. From setting up airport transfer and prompt pick up upon arrival by Tani went off without a hitch. I got to the hotel and had to walk a little to get to the hotel, the view was absolutely stunning. Eddie greeted me, carried my bags to reception, and checked me in. I asked for an upgrade with a jacuzzi which Elena and Eddie helped me with for 3 days of my stay, absolutely worth it. Juliano was super helpful getting my bags to the new room. Gwen and her sister the housekeepers checked in to see if I needed anything and were super helpful the whole stay. By the time I left here I felt like I’ve gained some new friends at Afroessa. Thank you all again for the wonderful customer service - Tani, Eddie, Juliano, Gwen & Sister, and Elena. Can’t wait to come back!

This hotel is a hidden gem. The views are unbelievable - you won’t believe it until you see it as pictures don’t do it justice. The hotel is well located, rooms are very clean with an excellent breakfast. The host, Eddie, and all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed in Santorini for 3 days and booked our stay last-minute. We absolutely loved our experience at the Afroessa Hotel. The views are stunning, the amenities great and the service impeccable! :) The manager Eddie helped us with everything we needed and provided an overall exceptional experience! The photos do not do the property justice. It is really beautiful and offers stunning views of the Caldera and Oia. The whole hotel is split in two parts by a small walkway, which is not to crowded. There is a pool at the bottom part of the hotel where you can relax and take a swim. For the location, the hotel is located at the northern end of Imerovigli. If you walk from Thira, it is quite a walk, covering some height, but it is well possible. There are options to get closer to the Hotel by using the public bus, or other transportation services. I wish I could have stayed here longer! Hopefully I will get the chance to come back here in the future!

This is a gem, the view is perfect and away from the crowd. It’s easy enough to find and get to and few minutes away from the bus stop. The breakfast is great with good portion size. Fruits and pastry are fresh and freshly baked. The place is clean and immaculate

This hotel was just wow! We booked a honeymoon suite which was actually more private than I expected. No one to the right of us, and the room next to us did not have a pool so they could not see onto our deck, there was no one above us either. It was the perfect seclusion to see the unobstructed sunset. The views were to die for. The hotel staff, Dionis, Edi, and Greta were super, and what made the hotel an amazing place! Our room itself was newly renovated and very clean.
