Loved the experience. The hotel was amazing with great views and a beautiful terrace for the sunset. We booked some great activities through the hotel. The breakfast was purely delicious and the best part was the chef ‘Kinda’. She was extremely kind and generous. My mother cannot eat eggs but she made sure that my mother has some great eggless vegetarian options. She baked special breads and eggless cakes to made her feel included and provided her with fruits when she couldn’t eat much. She was making sure that everyone has their food criteria met by keeping in mind allergies and food intolerances. Overall the staff was quite hospitable and made sure our stay was lovely.

Magical! A magical time at Oia Mare Villas! To us, it was perfection - from the views and the suites to the staff and cleanliness of the whole place. We were fortunate to be staying here for a full week (with our son and daughter, in Caldera and sea view cave suites), and during this time we really did feel like part of the family, as the staff were all so lovely. We particularly loved the breakfast chef who produced local pastries and traditional fayre among other breakfast staples. On complimenting her one day, she admitted she had been up at 5am that morning, baking the pastries. You can’t get fresher than that! The cleaners, too, were up early ensuring the place was spotless; we didn’t see a single piece of rubbish during our week there. Thank you, George and team, for making us feel like VIPs, for giving us a holiday we shall always remember... and for making our daughter’s 21st birthday so very special!

The views at Oia Mare Villas were truly stunning and the sunsets magnificent - the best on the island. Watching a sunset while in a private hot tub was a very memorable experience. Getting into the Villa was a bit of a challenge due to steepness of the mountain side. The staff made that a snap - a call out to Lazurus and Abu who went above and beyond in carrying our luggage, bringing us food, and helping us when lost. Our room was beautiful, the food was superb- room service excellent.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely, unique boutique hotel with spectacular views ( you have to work to get there and are basically hanging off of the rocks). The vibe is chillax, all of the employees we met are kind and attentive, we had two different rooms both very clean and comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast including many kinds of pittes made by the morning cook. Aside from breakfast, a limited number of snacks available including very good pizza, Greek salad and toasts. Great airport and ferry transport service. The reception team very helpful in organizing excursions.

Just checked out yesterday from Oía Mare Villa and wanted to share about this wonderful gem of a hotel in the heart of old Oía. Everything about this hotel is absolutely superb! From the moment we were picked up by the transfer at the ferry, everything was spectacular. Our driver was pleasant and drove us the 40 minutes to our hotel, explaining the sites and giving us tips on beaches and restaurants to enjoy during our stay. He dropped us off in the heart of Oía where we were met with a porter who took our luggage’s all the way to our hotel (NOTE: this is not an easy job! Taking our three luggages up and down the stairs all the way to our hotel room is not for the faint of heart!). The staff at the front desk were very helpful and patient, and they brought us delicious, refreshing iced tea which were so welcomed after the long walk up the famous Oía stairs! The hotel shared space was wonderful! A spacious patio with a nice pool that is partially in the shade, just large enough for dipping for a nice refreshing swim. And last but not least, our room was fantastic! We had the sea view cave suite and it was wonderful! Very spacious, cool and bright with all of the amenities. Large enough that the three of us that the room still felt spacious even with a third bed set up for our daughter. I would highly recommend Oía Mare Villa without reservation, and I STRONGLY suggest you opt for the transfer offered by the hotel to get you from ferry or airport to the hotel, as it would be quite a challenge finding it yourself and lugging your suitcase without their expert help and exerience. To the wonderful staff at Oía Mare, We will be back to see you one day!!

We arrived on Aug 22 and left Aug 25. This place is absolutely beautiful. Such a great place to call home and the views are breathtaking. Thank you so much for your hospitality. You made our stay in Santorini unforgettable.

We spent 3 nights in a Cave Superior Studio with Caldera & Sea View and were absolutely thrilled! Our first time to Santorini and it did not disappoint. The room and view were sensational, loved that we had 2 verandahs to try and catch shade during the heat of the day. Room was large and stays naturally cool but does have air con. Great design and feels unique. We loved that the pool is partially in a cave to have shade in middle of the day. There are a lot of steps to get here and anywhere around Oia, so you need to be fairly mobile, but it is in a fantastic spot with amazing sunset views and views of the caldera. Breakfast was amazing with delicious house made treats, and all staff are very friendly and accomodating. Great service. Highly recommend for an iconic Santorini stay!

The property location is fabulous and well maintained The staff were attentive and very helpful especially Katherine readily available to make recommendations and assist with reservations. Breakfast was decent although wished There was from fresh fruit. My only complaint is I had an 11 am flight out of JTR and I asked to leave my room at 8:30 so we could grab a quick breakfast since the airport was close we were flying domestically. Was told had to leave at 8am they provided us the night before with toast crackers with jelly and butter which was not something we wanted to eat. After be before forced out at 8 to be picked up at 830 we winding up waiting until 850 for the driver to arrive we could of easily took our time grabbed a real breakfast and walked up for our transfer it was disappointing to be rushed out to wait.. would recommend despite being disappointed.

A magical oasis. The views are unbelievable. The perfect place to stay to relax, see the sunset from your own patio or the pool/bar, and serve as home base in Oia. These cave rooms are amazing. The staff is amazing, particularly Nikoletta who serves as a wonderful concierge. She is the most helpful person we worked with throughout our trip. Her recommendations for a catamaran cruise, dinner reservations, and a guided tour of Minoan ruins, were top notch. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool is lovely. There are bar snacks and drinks available by the pool. There is a rooftop area to sit, if you grow tired of the amazing view from your patio. Small hotel - only 17 rooms. About Oia — Fair warning for those who haven’t been to Oia - there are many, many, many steps to get anywhere, including to this hotel. They have people to bring your luggage up and down the steps on the hill (tip them well, they are working very hard). But I cannot warn you enough about the steps, which are uneven, winding, etc. Do your research - as this applies to every restaurant, bar and hotel in Oia. If you have mobility issues due to health or age, this may not be the city for you. For everyone else - that is the price you pay for the amazing, paradise view and the awe-inspiring sunsets.

The villa itself is actually more beautiful in person. It is quiet and peaceful - great spot to be in late April. We didn’t leave much in the two days we stayed because the pool, bar, and views are unbeatable. What really made this experience, however, was the staff. The front desk staff (Nicoleta and Iona (sp?)), bar and breakfast staff, cleaning staff, drivers, and porter staff (Abdul, especially), made this trip phenomenal. All spaces are immaculate, food and drinks are delicious and fresh, and we never carried our own bags once which felt like such a luxury, especially in Oía. Got great recommendations for food and places to visit. Could not recommend more highly.

My friend and I stayed at Oia Mare Luxury Hotel and it was once of the best experiences I have ever had . The customer service and attention to detail was first class. My friend and I had such an amazing stay . The hotel's architecture was incredible and we were awed by its beauty. Reception staff was incredible in helping us set up reservations and activities . the hotel made our trip amazing! we loved every second . Friendly, accommodating, helpful, and professional. The staff placed a nice little romantic surprise in our room for my friend and me. Big compliments to the staff for that experience. The hotel itself is stunning. Our room was the grande suite - which was a wonderful room with a nice sized pool, big spacious bedroom and seating area as well as a nicely appointed bathroom with shower. We had a direct view of the sea and sunset . The public pool was also a real nice experience , as it’s pretty large and there’s a bar on site and large lounge chairs and lounge beds to relax on if that’s your style. I think we considered this one of our best stays during our honeymoon, and overall one of our best experiences as far as accommodations in Greece. We would recommend this location and hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Oia & Santorini!

WOW. This location was superb! We had one of their two "cave superior suites," as I always wanted a "cave" experience, and this exceeded our expectations. Our balcony looked right at the sunset while other rooms were blocked and needed to go to the terrace atop the hotel for viewing. No need to get a 'hot tub' as their pool is centrally located with ample room and super comfy loungers on two levels. I researched the heck out of this area with *********** and of all the locations and price-points, this was confirmed as being the best choice. I am glad that they coordinate arrivals and departures with an able-bodied person to carry our suitcases down and back up, as there are 140 steps from the post office meeting area down to the hotel. Many steps are long 5-6' pads and aren't all just normal stairs, but be advised that you will "get your steps in."

This is a wonderful hotel/villa. Everyone working there we’re polite and accommodating. They were extremely helpful in arranging for our luggage to be carried up, which is a difficult task a very difficult task and got people to come in at six in the morning to take care of us to make sure we got our ride to the airport, they did an outstanding job . Everything is clean. The room was excellent, very large, very large bathroom and shower area. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. And you get to see the sunset yourself without having to go to the crowds by sitting on the rooftop tables. The pool was cool and delightful, and it has a unique pool cave that you can have an intimate swim with your partner if you want to.The pool Bar/Cafe is where they also serve breakfast. Living on the cliffs of Santorini is like living in the clouds. We cannot say enough nice things about the people who work at this hotel

Beautiful hotel with the best views on the island! First things first, there are lots of steps. You're staying on the slopes of a caldera, so if you can't do steps, Santorini isn't for you. The hotel coordinated a complementary transfer to and from the airport for our stay. They were very good about communicating by e-mail in the weeks leading up to our arrival, as well as the day of when our flight was delayed. Upon arrival there were porters available to take our larger bags down/up the stairs when checking in/out. And bless them because those stairs aren't a joke, and I know some people pack far more than we did, so they are saints. Upon check in the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful in getting us checked in and explaining the grounds. Our room was a honeymoon cave suite with outdoor hot tub and caldera view. The room was quite large, with excellent amenities. We're a big fan of the cave style rooms in Santorini and while it may seem too warm for the hot tub, it was actually quite perfect at night with the ocean breeze. There are light snacks on property, but not much in the way of actual dinner, so you will need to make arrangements at restaurants on the island, and it's probably best to make reservations in advance. In your room they have a binder of local restaurant/bar recommendations to choose from as well as activities. The cave pool and terrace were nice, and the girl that runs the pool bar during the day was super friendly and kept us going with plenty of drinks. Along with having a view of the caldera from our room, they have a private terrace that is a bit of a hike up some stairs, but very good sunset views. If you haven't read or seen photos, hundreds/thousands of people flock to Oia for the sunset views, and you can see them along the ridge and any available spot for sunset, so having the private terrace is nice. When on property it almost makes you feel pretty isolated from the 1000s of tourists, which is quite nice. Thank you to the drivers/baggage handlers/front desk staff/and bartenders for making our stay fantastic! We would highly recommend this hotel!
