We had a wonderful experience at Numa Santorini. The cave style villas were brand new at the time of our visit and were simply stunning, with beautiful decor and very well appointed. The full sized private pool was a real positive. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa as a couple as no 1 bedroom villas were available. There were 2 huge bedrooms so would absolutely be suitable to visit as a family with teenagers. The view was lovely looking out over the east of the island with gorgeous sunrises. The caldera was just across the road and you could walk 2 minutes to get the sunset views. The property was about a 25-30 min walk to Fira, down a busy road albeit paved the whole way. You could also get bus from right outside the hotel. All in all a wonderful stay!

Only 70 days old when we checked in, these beautiful new studio suites are styled like a large cave inside with every modern convenience. Outside you have your own pool, no mere tub as so often in Santorini. With the owner and her son Yannis, and a couple who manage the place, you have very personal attention. They can easily tailor-make your visit to suit your preferences or just help you find the bus stop. Breakfast on your own terrace is included, and the sunrise view is spectacular. If you want to see the sunset then cross the road in front of the hotel and you have it. This is a convenient, quiet location away from the madding crowds but near enough to join them when you want to. These six suites are a great find. Hard to find anything bad to say.
