Santa Susanna Resort Hotel

We had 0 expectations after booking a cheap and cheerful last minute girls trip and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was as basic as they come but clean and fresh towels everyday. The food was actually quite good! The sausages are breakfast were tasty and the bread buns were nice. There was a good selection at lunch and dinner and we all enjoyed the food. The drinks selection was brilliant with plenty of cocktails on offer. There were plenty of sunbeds available all day. The staff were helpful and friendly. If I had to say anything negative about the hotel it would be the other guests. Some people were blind drunk by early afternoon and quite loud and leary round the pool. It didn’t bother us but may have if we would have had kids with us. There was a couple of screaming matches and a fight broke out at one point. There appeared to be a mini disco for kids but we went into Malgrat de Mar every night which is a 10-15 minute walk, beers were between 2-3 euros and some places did a litre cocktail for about 7 euros. If you get chance do visit the drunken duck and eureka bar. I would definitely return for another cheap girly holiday, thank you to all the staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time xx

Before we came to the resort we was sceptical because of some reviews but that all went out the window as soon as we got there. The bar staff (Simo especially) and the guys behind reception was so accommodating and made this whole holiday to be honest. The vibe round the whole place was great.

Food ok selection, pool lovely, accommodation clean , hotel very clean,token glass for drinks I haven't experienced that one before, as a lot of guests said an early morning coffee would be great even if you had to pay a euro sat on the nice terrace ! But u can't get a coffee till breakfast opens at 745am! And no kettle in the rooms !!! What's that all about ?? Surely they know the English love a coffee, tea to start the day ! Especially those with the young ones !! They need the boost to keep up ! Overall quality 3 star hotel , with staff that are attentive! Well done owner n staff just a few tweeks and you will be favourite of the English!,Europeans,and all ??,

In all honesty when arriving we thought oh no what have we done , but initial impressions were deceiving . The hotel is in the style of a Bavarian chalet dated and too dark . But as the week progressed ,this quirky hotel revealed its impeccable cleanliness in all areas , and friendly and accommodating staff. The food is standard canteen food ,but with enough variety to at least placate the most fussy of palettes. The location is in walking distance of all amenities but far enough to provide a peacefully break. Yes a further upgrade would not go amiss , buts it’s clean ,with comfortable beds and sunshine. Is it good value for money ? Yes, I believe it is when compared to other three star accommodation on offer in the area

Visited here all inclusive in May 2024 with family, 9 adults and 7 children aged between 3yrs old and 9 yrs old. The hotel is a little dated and tired looking in places but is spotlessly clean and all staff are welcoming,helpful and very friendly. Food was suitable for adults and children and a great variety every day. Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day. 2 pools on site, one children's pool with waterside etc. Amenities a short walk away and beach 15 mins walk or hotel provides a shuttle bus during the day. Reception booked our trips out for us and got us the best deals. Overall a fantastic Holiday

Overall had a great short stay this weekend just past with a friend. Rooms are as to be expected in a 3 star but clean and the bathrooms are lovely. Great balcony too. The area is quite secluded from the town however a 10 min walk to the beach where you can find a few bars and restaurants or late night club if that’s your thing. Also a supermarket next door for all your needs. The hotel itself is lovely as well with great amenities especially for families. Food is outstanding with plenty of selection for all. Drinks are okay, very sweet but again lots of selection. Staff are friendly too. Would definitely go again.

We have just returned from our holiday and it is hard for me to give a good review. Unfortunately our stay here had many negative points and therefore my review will be appropriate. The reception is friendly, the food is good, but more for the English, which is a big minus. The staff in the dining room, unfriendly, don't even respond to thanks. The rooms, on the other hand, are clean, so a plus. The hotel is well located, close to the supermarket and terraces, which was a plus for us. Otherwise, very noisy/noisy, until after 1 am and the staff does not take any action even though there are surveillance cameras and they could see it. However, it does not deserve its stars, we will definitely not come back here.

Disgusting!! Awful rooms.. like a prison !!! I want to go home!! .. it’s a living hell! The place needs knocking down and bulldozing into oblivion !! Why on earth any responsible website would advertise this as even a 3 star is beyond me. I once fell asleep in a toilet and woke up in a cleaner place than this hell hole!!

this hotel is wicked! The food was top notch plenty of choice tasted super fresh! Plenty to do in hotel. clean pool, clean rooms clean hotel! The staff were amazing especially hasan at reception very helpful and polite. I will be back soon!!!
