We went as a family of 4 and overall we had a great time. The pool area is good but pool is freezing, the entertainment was great but the pirate attack on Sunday was dragged out a bit. The rooms are dated and definitely in need of updating. We went all-inclusive, but the food was a letdown. The food was very average and had better from a 3 star hotel previously ( we are NOT fussy eaters). The dining area is also quite small and there were times we struggled to get a seat. The juice machine was rubbish. We tried the cocktails and they were awful. The beer was good and the kids enjoyed the slush machine. We weren't able to get a pint glass during the evening from the bar but only small plastic cups. The pint glasses were reserved to paying customers which felt like a cop out considering we paid all-inclusive. Also the behaviour of the owner or manager (unsure of his title) during Friday night talent show was so unprofessional. He was drinking alcohol and smoking in a non smoking area, right next to where we sat enjoying the entertainment. He also kept running onto the stage in between acts, bare in mind this was kids talent show, in between him drinking ( I am not saying he was drunk but nonetheless unprofessional) it felt like he didn't think his staff was doing a good job. Overall as a family we made the most of our time there and made memories despite everything but will not be returning.

One of the biggest draws to pirates village in previous years has been the shows. This year the introduction of a big screen a good show does not make. With the removal of the pirate ship in the production area the hotel has lost its way and to a certain extent soul. Aweful sound and terrible lighting compound the problem. I’ve seen less strobing at a rave. Shows are very dance based and less variation in terms of production values. Many people have been leaving during multiple shows. My son has been bored with the shows May 25 but loved them last year three times. Pool is great as usual but some areas are starting to look very tired and should have been refreshed in the off season. One incidental issue is that due to the led screen many rooms no longer get a view of the stage (albeit from the reverse side). The new policy of putting on football is encouraging male drinking during the day causing issues by evening. As a family hotel this should be scrapped immediately. We won’t be returning due to being threatened by a drunk male group.

Workers are very creepy and disturbing and always lingering around corridors not doing their job. Multiple children got lost and didn't bat an eyelash. Other than this, it was quite enjoyable. Nice place - just the workers to complain about.

Fab holiday big shout out to bev and the staff only dissappoment is mount of litter and rubbish left by guests at sun beds bins are provided feel sorry for the life guards having to clean it up please put your rubbish in the bins or tidy up after yourselves

Such a great hotel. We had our 3 and 4 year old there and can honestly say they had a ball. Staff are amazing very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff always have time for the kids little smiles and high fives all round. Bar staff really nice too. Shout out to Carlos for never leaving me with an empty glass! We were all inclusive. It's fine can't complain about the food, drinks limited but again you get what you pay for. But we do enjoy eating out so ate out about 50 percent of the time. Pool area is amazing for the kids lots of shallow areas for small kids and lifeguards all round. We had a themed apartment and again no complaints. Main bed is huge. Entertainment team are what made it for our kids. The shows they put on were fantastic and around the pool during the day they were just mental in the best way possible. Where they get their energy from I don't know. My kids loved the enetertainer in the blue in the picture below sorry I forget her name but she is brilliant. Beverly the manager is running a great hotel here. I never talked to her myself but you can see her around all the time constantly asking guests how they are and asking for tips on where to improve. She is a credit to the hotel. Would we go back??? 100 percent

Wow! What a ball we had. Went with 3 kids ages 5-10, my mum, aunt & sister (16 years old) and it was such a laugh. We were all inclusive and it was so worth it. The food was just amazing & the selection was varied every time. The chefs were lovely and so was the waitress staff! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack bar by the pool, we were never hungry! Drinks all local options for all inclusive aswell as cocktails (not handmade) and a drinks machine for coke, Fanta sprite etc. Brilliant for the kids to go up whenever they wanted something and not have to spend money every time. The staff especially the bartender Carlos were exceptional. The rooms were so clean & there was a schedule to show which floor was being cleaned on which days which was great! The overall facilities are brilliant. (Outdoor Games room, outdoor toilets and shower , arcade,massage chairs) Lifeguards, management, hotel staff, are always present and willing to help. Now the entertainment. WOW I’m still amazed. Fabulous, from the shows to the kids club & kids activities.. just WOW. The performances were incredible for both adults and kids. The audience interaction was amazing. Especially the Pirate Attack! What a laugh that is. 10/10 to all the Pirates 🏴‍☠️ special mention to the Shaman! 😂 Cannot wait to book again! Would high recommend.

Only good thing about this place is the pool area and entertainment, everything else is very poor. Staff are rude, specially the restaurant staff and to the kids, the rooms are battered, broken furniture, holes in doors and walls. All inclusive is terrible, food is awful and many things you have to pay additionally for. We will never go back here again thats for sure.

We went all inclusive felt as if it was worth it. Room was good size especially for having an 18 month old had a baby bath big enough for my daughter as it only had a shower. That felt like a nice touch especially with my daughter hating showers and loving a bath! Room was also very clean. Food was great different dishes every night so always something different. Staff were a bit hit or miss I did find. I get not everyone loves there work but it's a child hotel at least try and make the effort. Carlos and especially Beverly were warm and welcoming! I think there definitely needs to be more things for kids like shows etc. At night the kids club lasted what 30mins off that and sang the same 3/4 songs every night. I feel like that's the only thing I can mark the hotel down on. Other than that it was genuinely good and would recommend!

Brilliant place booked again for next April everything was fantastic only downside I think was pillows in room s not very comfortable very hard to sleep on but couldn’t fault anything else food the staff all fantastic and Beverley is a super manager would highly recommend this holiday my daughter loves it
