Warm welcome, lovely comfortable rooms with a stunning view on Panarea and Stromboli. Excellent restaurant (try the Mammasantina spaghetti alle erbe, and fish dishes), great breakfast and service. Wonderful pool amidst citrus trees.

You just can't expect the Hilton. The island isn't that kind of place. Mamma Santina is everything you need on this fabulous green Island. We booked the standard rooms. Rooms overlooked the pool and had incredible sunset views. Lovely size rooms and style. Very comfy bed. The staff were incredible. They picked the 4 of us up from the ferry. They organised electric scooters that I must say are essential. We got all around the island to every beach and every view point. They let us play our guitar and sing in the bar and even asked us to sing during dinner service. Breakfast was classic. Healthy and easy. Dinner was absolutely fantastic. Best on the island. The Pasta Con le Sarde (Sicilian Pasta With Sardines) is the best pasta i have ever had and I'm married to an Italian. Chef and owner Mario was super helpful and even prepared some vegan / gluten free for a guest in our party. Eleonora and her team were next level helpful. This place would be my only choice and we will all be back when we can. Coming from the coast in Australia we were unsure what to expect. It's a laid back place on a laid back island. Get out to Malfa, Pollara and get around the island on a charter boat. It delivered more. Way more. Magical. Memories made. Thanks Eleonora and Mario. Paul, Karen, Chris and Melissa

Detail in design and excellent work in resourcing and recycling materials. Green . Ocean view, Beautiful gardens and tiled floors, upscale farm to table food, and customer service. Leonora was a complete class act in assisting us with arrival/departure and arranging a local caper and wine tour.

We decided to book for a long weekend in September pretty much last minute and it turned out to be the best decision we ever made! This place is spotless, beautifully located in Santa Marina Salina, short walking distance from the port and the rooms are very simple but nicely decorated and with an amazing view. This place has a lovely although small pool which we enjoyed for a quick swim or relax for a couple of hours. The buffet at breakfast was varied and the staff very attentive. We will no doubt go back there whenever we'll have the possibility to do so.

We stayed here as our first stop on our honey moon. A beautiful hotel who made us feel very welcome and special. We had a room with a big terrace and hammock, perfect for relaxing all day. The staff were so helpful, booking taxis and recommending restaurants. Although we didn’t need to leave the hotel to eat, we ate twice in the evening and the food was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone!

Hotel Mamma Santina was a good place because it was easy and comfortable. Although we found ants all over the room, dirty towel in the bathroom. The breakfast was good but a total mess. Swimming pool was amazing. Staff was kind but was very young and not so much experienced. In conclusion, it is a very good place to stay but we did not find the right ratio between price and quality.
