It’s a midpoint during our No. 1 road driving trip. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is a little bit simple. It’s three hours driving distance from Los Angeles. The overall accommodation experience is good.

We like Fairfield Marriott in Santa Maria. Nice place to rest. Quiet. Just off the freeway. Various shopping opportunities and restaurants within short driving distance.

The room was comfortable as were the beds. The oatmeal was very good. It was quiet. The location was convenient. The area you have to drive through to arrive at the entrance is very unattractive. This is the only negative.

This place is clean and pleasant but has no frills or anything. Decent actual hot breakfast each morning is nice. Need to drive to get anywhere for food or shops.
