Having stayed in several AI hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean, it’s always difficult to match the standards you get in those hotels in Europe, especially for similar cost, so I can be hard to please! But, given that I now have a 1 year old, I’m trying to find a similar holiday with a much shorter flight time. I’ve stayed in a few 5 star AI’s in Spain and Greece over the years and never been impressed, particularly with the cheap food and alcohol they try to push on guests in the AI package. For once, I have actually been quite pleased with the offering here at Sensatori Biomar and would return again. Most things I would rate as really good, there were some things that could be improved but they weren’t major things and overall the positives more than outweighed any negatives. Resort is very clean, modern and well kept. We stayed for a week and we had no sickness or diarrhea, which I had been worried about given the reviews I had read a few weeks before. Pools were all very clean and well kept however, the toilets at the pools are not well signposted at all. In fact we had to ask and only found where they were on day 3. When we did go in them they were empty. Considering the amount of people in the pools and the fact they are drinking several drinks from a swim up bar and not many seem to know where the toilets are due to lack of signage - you can guess where they are all relieving their bladders! I know chlorine kills it somewhat but still it’s just a bit nasty to be swimming in all that wee, especially in a 5 star resort. But generally the resort is very well kept. The rooms are clean, aircon works well and they have wooden floors instead of tiles which is good and more safe if you have a small baby. I don’t know if this applies to all rooms but we had twin beds pushed together rather than a double which was slightly annoying! The cupboards and drawers in the living room had push mechanisms to open them rather than handles which again is good for small babies to stop them opening them! The room had a kettle, fridge, hairdryer, iron. The iron wasn’t the best though and if I came again I would bring my own. The shower was powerful which was good and the room had a nice deep bath. The sinks would have been fine apart from I had to wash the baby’s bottles in them as there was nowhere else in the hotel to wash bottles. They would not hold water in them even when the plug was down therefore I had to keep the water running the whole time to replace the water that was being lost down the plughole whilst washing! This was a bit annoying as I’d have liked to leave them to soak for a while but couldn’t. The TV seemed to have many channels but they were not accessible and the only ones that were, were a few German ones. This wasn’t a major issue for us as we don’t go on holiday to watch TV, but could be for some. We had a swim up room in the family section. This hotel is very much a tale of two different sides of the hotel. The family side and the adults only side. I know lots of reviews say the adults only is a better quality and having tried the food in both and seen the rooms in both (family had a room in adult only section), I would say that the rooms are a better quality but food and drinks are they same in my opinion. Bottom line - would we go back? Decent quality hotel, which is a safe bet for a a family holiday. Already booked for next year. Room - 4 stars (out of 5) We stayed in the family side (have 2 young kids so no real choice). We chose a one bedroom room. Room was very spacious and looked very luxurious. After time we noticed the same damage and wear and tear. Turned out the balcony door wasn't locking which was quickly resolved (1 hour) when reported to reception. Bed were comfy, room was clean so not many complaints. Food - 4 stars Family buffet restaurant was very hit and miss. Each night a different theme. BBQ was the highlight as was Asian night. We only did one ala carte restaurant. Was disappointed by the Grass and Green at night however it was good a lunch option as a change to the buffet. We did try the adults only buffet for lunch a couple of times (had family looking after the kids) but found it very similar to the family only restaurant for quality of food but was a lot quieter. Drink - 5 stars No complaints. Decent amount of branded alcohol as pert of all inclusive. Table service at evening entrainment. No queues for drinks. Decently list of cocktails. Pool bar in the activity pool (also headed during our visit) Staff - 3.5 star Very hit and miss. Bar staff at night were a amazing. Friendly, quick service. Reception staff always seemed grumpy and everything was an inconvenience. Bar staff during the day generally friendly except for one grumpy woman at the pool bar. Kids club staff friendly. Kids club - 5 star The best kids club we have every had. Extremely friendly staff. Very safe sign in/out procedure. Kids had a great time and always wanted to go back. Entertainment - 4 star The kids section was confusing but the kids loved it every night. The interactive quiz (I think it was called quizstorm) was a nice change. The remaining entertainment is mainly a variation of musically acts from the inhouse musicians. Very talents but becomes very repetitive after a few days. Other - You get a free visit to the hydrotherapy pool. Thea’s Coffee Shop does great ice cream. The activity pool was heated when we visited in October. Beach (Sa Coma) is 10 mins away. Quite busy when we visited. I did a sunrise swim which was great. Sea was very calm.

Went with my mum for 3 nights , adults only swim up , was lovely relaxing quiet food was delicious , very clean , staff friendly , mini bar refilled everyday ( all non alcohol) Booked to go back , family side swim up looking forward to showing my family

faultless experience !!! after having issues on previous TUI all inclusive resorts i had some doubts this would be any better, how wrong i was! this place is how all inclusive should be ! pay a bit more and get the sort of service and experience normally only found in the most expensive hotels. we found the staff in every department to be friendly and helpful and always with a big smile nothing was too much trouble, they obviously have had some good training. the hotels overall decor and bedrooms are all pristine and very clean the maids do a great job. the seating is comfortable everywhere and the sunbeds are pretty good. the pool area is great some shaded areas and good quality decking , pool was slightly cool as it was a little windy on a couple of days but still great to get in . the pool bar and swim up bar was great also. one of the best things about this resort is the drinks are nearly all premium well known brands unlike other places where you pay extra and very well served. wine was a local red and white again very good very drinkable spanish wine....occasionally too drinkable!!! the food offering is very very good lots of variety and themed nights always looked fresh even at the end of service at all mealtimes, we normally eat out in the evenings at an all inclusive , we didnt need to bother as the food here is that good especially the gala steak BBQ evening , where proper large steaks were served as you liked it , very good! A good tip is try the rooftop pool for a quiet suntrap with large double beds and views out to sea, no bar here but easy to get drinks. we will definitely stay here again highly recommended , well done Tui and Protur Biomar Sensatori Resort team ! thank you Andy & Sarah

We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was lovely but really would not stay in again. The rooms themselves are so lovely and spacious and clean. The food while there was something there for everyone the small things missing were the likes of gravies or sauces each evening. My husbands a very fussy eater so the likes of this would of been ideal. The main let down for this beautiful resort though is the entertainment. Please try work on this especially in the adults only part as it was not great. But overall i loved it, we will be back again, and the staff were all amazing. Thank you guys

We stayed in a swim up room in the adult building and glad we did. The pool was nice and warm but the adult area pool was freezing! Food and drink was excellent and the staff were always helpful and happy. We stayed in room 151. The room itself is nice and clean and modern but I was a bit unsure at first as it was quite shaded on the terrace but it was nice and quiet and got the sun in the afternoon. Something to be aware of is the shower can be seen through from the bedroom. Overall a good stay and would go back again.
