Lovely hotel. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Food options were plentiful and of very good quality. On the beach which is beautiful. Bit hilly but fine once you get used to it. Could do with bathrobes in rooms but very minor criticism. Would definitely go back.

I have seen so many negative reviews, and I honestly can’t understand them based on the type of holiday we were looking for. We travelled with an almost 3 year old and my sister and brother in law, who have a 6 month old. Everywhere was very clean. Pools and splash pad were great. Food had lots of variety and meat and fish cooked fresh and there was literally nothing you couldn’t get for breakfast. Drink selection was great for all inclusive. Evening entertainment wasn’t great but my daughter absolutely loved the kids mini disco - young kids are easily entertained!

We chose Tarida Beach for our first time taking our 1.5 year old away, and it was the perfect family holiday. Before our baby, we would only stay in luxury adult-only hotels, so I didn’t have high expeditions of this hotel, but I was totally wrong - we absolutely could not fault Tui Tarida Beach! Everything was up to such a high standard - the restaurant staff were super friendly, food was fresh with a range of options to suit everyone. Our toddler enjoyed every meal as did we! The pools are great, rooms spacious and everywhere around the hotel was spotlessly clean. The Retreat is an amazing addition to this hotel and we loved that it was separate, keeping a more chilled vibe at the hotel but being able to visit the Retreat a few times throughout the week. The restaurant/food here was also really great. All in all we had an amazing holiday as a family and would highly recommend this hotel. Can’t understand where all the negative reviews are coming from, as we really couldn’t fault it!

We booked this holiday as a group of 16 varying in ages from 1-60. We usually book TUI blue hotels and this was our first visit to Tarida beach. I’ll start with positives.. The hotel and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The hotel has been kept to a high standard and everywhere is clean and well maintained. Our rooms were modern and were always cleaned to a very good standard. You have a lovely view from the restaurant of the beach and sea. We spent most of our stay over at The Retreat as there was something there for everyone. We enjoyed use of the tennis courts, activities and the children enjoyed the splash park/pools (just a shame about the Baltic temperatures!). My favourite part of the Retreat was that there was food/snacks available all day. This was perfect if you wanted a lay in as I didn’t matter if you missed breakfast. There was good snacks available such as nachos, fruit, pancakes etc. The children’s entertainment was good and our children really enjoyed. The evening entertainment was good too. However, once the entertainment finished around 10pm, all the lights are turned off and staff start packing chairs around you etc. You feel quite pressurised to leave even if you aren’t ready. Having said that, the waiters were fantastic, the waiter service in the evening was quick and efficient and no order was too much. Eliot (I think was his name) was a brilliant waiter and no order was too much trouble. Now on to the negatives.. mainly THE FOOD. The food was a proper let down on this holiday and everyone was in agreement. When you pay 4/5* prices, you expect food to a high standard. There was unfortunately only 1 a-la-carte restaurant included and this had a profound impact on the buffet dinner in my opinion. Every night the buffet was absolutely crammed with people. It was not an enjoyable experience at all! Apart from the Asian night, the selection of food was somewhat questionable. Everyone complained how cold the food was.. this happened at every meal. The bacon in the morning was stone cold. The meat/fish cooked fresh in front of you always seemed to be overcooked. The dessert selection was absolutely stunning and was the one thing I looked forward to. However, due to the sheer volume of people there, you were very lucky to get the cakes you wanted when it came to it they were gone! I would advise if you eye anything up whilst getting your dinner, pick it up there and then! The cocktail menu was pretty good. But for some reason the cocktails by the main pool were terrible as they were from a machine. The ones in the retreat and evening were made fresh. The temperature of the main pools were freezing. Our 1 year old refuse to go in all holiday. It was disappointing to feel that the adults only pool seems to be heated. Why not heat the main pools too? Overall we enjoyed but wouldn’t return. I honestly don’t know where to start, we had the most amazing holiday. We travelled as a family of 10. 2 families of 4 and 2 adults. We all had swim up rooms and they were fantastic. The rooms were clean and the swim up pools were great. We could not fault the food or the entertainment and the beach location was brilliant. The sunsets are stunning. The children loved going to the retreat which was just an added bonus! The only slight ****** was the wait at check in but we soon forgot about that. We found the restaurant great for adults and children. The service was great. We are returning next year!

We visited as a family of three in May and booked a swim up room, which was beautiful. Be aware though that some rooms were in the shade from 12 onwards. We had 1226 and it was perfect, didn’t get sunny until 12 but then sunny until 6.30pm. Food- The breakfast was fab Lunch and dinner a few days I struggled. It seemed some days were great and other days I couldn’t find much to eat. I found getting to the restaurants early was the key as otherwise the food went a bit stale. Location - tucked out the way, the beach sunsets are a must. My husband and 8 year old swam in the sea at 8pm and we watched the sun come down. Very special! Downsides - bottled water. As it was hot I like to keep us hydrated, the hotel I presume are trying to save on bottles, so give yoh two big bottles in the room to fill at lunch etc. however this was a nightmare, often the machine wasn’t working and the staff ended up pouring glass bottled water into the plastic bottle. It also means you don’t have anything to take out if you go to the shop or walk anywhere. Strong smell of sewage in certain parts of the hotel. Kids club - awful. My 8 year old went twice, one time it was safari, and he came out saying they did nothing safari related, the first one was sports school, which he was excited for and then got asked not to play football. It’s literally just a room filled with kids toys and ages 3+ Staff - really lovely, especially the ladies waitressing. We learnt new Spanish every day. Overall I would return to the hotel, but from the reviews my expectations were managed, I feel there are lots of areas that could be improved and it’s certainly not the best tui blue I have stayed in.

This hotel is amazing for families with young children, there is so much to do including a water park and a family pool, the food is incredible! The cocktails are great too….The staff are the most friendly you will meet and nothing is a problem, we have had the best week of our life’s as a family! Incredible! Will definitely reccomend to everyone I know 😄👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻

Stayed here with my husband and two young boys at the end of May. We stayed here because our friends were getting married at a venue nearby. We booked with TUI who have this down as 5*. It definitely wasn’t that for us. I’d say 3* at a push. Pros: lovely clean hotel. Beautiful location with a gorgeous beach next to it. Food good for an all inclusive (varied themed nights). Not rammed with booked Sunbeds so we always managed to get a bed. Cons: A lot of rude staff, clearly don’t like their job. Rooms not cleaned properly daily. The worst entertainment we’ve ever come across. Evening shows (if you can call them that) were awful. No kids activities. Kids evening disco was crap. Kids slides and park were off the site and up a little hill. Not ideal with small kids. This was shut in the evening which was annoying as we couldn’t take them to the park to make up for the rubbish entertainment. We were back in our room most nights by 9-10pm. Some of the rooms are quite high up and none of the buildings had lifts so keep that in mind when booking. A lot of slopes around this hotel so little legs, older people and disabled will struggle a bit here (I’m 5 months pregnant and struggled myself at times). Overall we did enjoy our holiday as we made our own fun and had company of friends. The weather was good to us all week so that helped. Can say that we will never return to this hotel. Not suitable for kids in my opinion and being Ibiza, there is virtually nothing for kids on the island. We have however stayed at the Holiday Village in Ibiza and that hotel was amazing. The entertainment was fab. So much to do every day. We always said we wouldn’t return to Ibiza but had to for our friends wedding. We much prefer our holidays to the Canary Islands and turkey.

Not for kids. Worst entertainment we’ve ever come across. Adults and kids entertainment was practically non existent. Rooms not easily accessible. Very hilly. No lifts. A lot of high rise rooms. Although rooms are nice and spacious. Daily cleaning not thorough. No minibar. Got given one bottle of water on day one for a family of four which we were devised to fill up ourselves 🤣😩 TUI has this as a 5* but it definitely isn’t that. We paid £5k for a week as a family of 4. Never again. We will stick with the canaries and turkey from now on.
