Our room was tastefully renovated. However, we were in a room at basement level and the washer and dryer were next door. The soundproofing is not great. When the folks across the hall came in at 3:00 a.m. we could clearly hear them walking down the hallway and talking for the next hour. In the bathroom, we could hear talking from the room next door. Walking in the room above us was also clearly heard. A few additional amenities would have made it much nicer, for example, boxes of kleenex, comfortable seating from which to watch the TV (there was only one small, uncomfortable loveseat and a table with two hard chairs from which to watch), and the bed pillows were lumpy, cheap, and awful. It would also have been nice to have some information in the room regarding restaurants and shopping and a map of downtown. There was an outdated Sandusky publication from years prior (I think pre-covid) which was not helpful and did not include a map of the downtown area.
