Convenient location with big and comfortable living room that let me spent time at there when bad weather outside. Staff & host also super nice. Supermarket & some attractions/hiking point also within walking distance. Very nice & budget place for staying faroe islands. Definitely will stay here again.

I love this place: from the big picture windows with a view of the sea, the comfy lounge where some thought has obviously been put into the decor, the well equipped kitchen, the friendly ginger cat Felix and the ever affable and helpful Kristjan, it is just a great and affordable place to stay in the Faroes. We were camping with a car but were able to use the hostel facilities and enjoyed meeting other travellers. Highly recommended!

Located close to the airport. Parking for camper vans and a smaller grassy patch for tents (could fit about 15 max). As a camper you cann use hostels facilities - large and well equipped kitchen and dining area. Just a few bathrooms with showers which are very small - this should be improved. A really cool, friendly and helpful host. Plus a lazy house cat.

I stayed seven nights here and had a great time. The site is a combined campsite and hostel. I was in the hostel part. The hostel is further divided into rooms as well as a converted bus which sleeps five! I was in the converted bus. I think the idea is to put younger people and large groups in the rooms and old gits like me in the converted bus. The common area is large and includes three cookers and two fridges. There are at least eight showers, maybe more. However, it's a hostel. If you're not prepared to accept shared spaces, then fork out for a posh hotel. The owner, Kristjan, is extremely friendly and professional and manages to make both his large groups and single travellers feel welcome and accommodated. He is also very laid back. He can't be there 24 hours, so has no problem with guests rolling up, finding a place to kip, and settling up for money afterwards. It is about a one-minute walk to the bus stop and about 20 minutes on foot to a supermarket. The bus is on the busiest line in the Faroes, from the airport to the capital Torshavn. My flight back was very early on a Sunday, too early to get the bus, so Kristjan very kindly sorted out a transfer for me for 100 kroner which I understand is half the price of a taxi. He even did this on a Saturday evening when quite rightly enjoying himself with a beer or ten after going to the Faroe Islands v Lithuania match (the Faroes won 2-1). For the seven nights I paid 1750 kroner/€235.20, or €33.60 a night. OK, that might be pricey in Moldova, but it's dirt cheap for the Faroes.

the manager of the place is kind, helpful. the place may need some fixing but the real problem is the lack of space. No place for the guest of a room stand contemporary, no place to sit and stay in the common room. The common room is both the kitchen and where you eat, and the place where you spend some loose time but it becomes really noisy, crowded, stinky and uncomfortable because of the lack of space
