World class tour and service from Januar and his team. The horses are exceptionally well cared for, and we had time before the tour to meet and select which horses we wanted to ride based on our ability levels and preferences. The tour itself was the perfect mix terrains and had a fantastic final destination at playa escondida. I can’t say enough about the friendliness and consideration of januar and the team in ensuring we were comfortable during the heat of the day. Finally the more advanced horse riders in the group were able to take the horses to gallop back at the stable, which was a real treat!! Thanks januar! Ps we just returned to say hi on a recent visit and were able to say hello to our favourite horses as well as meeting a newly rescued horse they’re rehabilitating!

Januar and the other cowboys were fun on the Escondida ride! We were taught how to make the horses go faster or turn. We even got to do some trotting. I heard the pioneer and sunset rides are also great ones to go on. Will be coming back to do this again.

A beautiful place with incredible amenities and exceptional service. Three great pools, several restaurants and La Tienda, a very nice market to buy what you need for snacks and cooking. The staff will learn your name and help you have an exceptional experience.

I had a wonderful dining experience at La Finca y El Mar Restaurant, and I have to give a special shoutout to our waiter, David. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, and professional. He took the time to explain the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in on us just the right amount. David’s friendly attitude and excellent service truly elevated the meal. The food was delicious and the ambiance was beautiful, but it was David’s hospitality that made the evening memorable. Thank you for such a great experience!

Our family spent a week at Rancho Santana and had the most wonderful time! Horse backing riding was on our to do list prior to arriving but once there we ended up going on 4 trail rides. As well as going to the stables to feed the horses carrots when we weren’t riding. Januar our guide was the best! He was full of knowledge and a joy to be around. We have 2 younger children - 7 and 9 years old and they were each accompanied by Lorenzo and Miguel, true cowboys and the kids loved them! We can’t wait to come back and ride with Januar and his team!

The property and activities were amazing. The staff were the nicest people you could imagine. Our family could not have had a better time. Highlights for us: 1) surfing lessons, what a fun new experience 2) sand boarding, what a unique activity to try 3) newborn turtle release 4) having the chef cook fish we caught in SJDS
