Hotel Budamar Zipolite

Overall our experience was good . The location & staff are wonderful. The hotel is somewhat rustic . We had a seaview albeit small room with a/c & a nice terrace. Sadly the bed on the terrace was an old box spring rather than a proper mattress. The biggest disappointment was a party with loud booming bass until 2:30 am .

This location is perfect and right on the beach. The lounge/restaurant/bar area is great! Two HUGE issues... If you choose the ground floor premium room #203 (queen size bed), you will be right next to the bar/restaurant and will be woken up quote early in the morning from the hotel setting up for breakfast. The room I was given had a mice infestation. I could smell the urine each time I turned on the air conditioner and I stepped on mouse poop. I was able to collect mouse poop on each day of my stay. I mentioned something to the staff and said that I think they nest was in the AC unit. The staff said they would send someone to take a look and try to clean out the AC unit, but nobody even looked at the issue. They ignored the issue. I don't like to demand compensation for complaints, but I almost did for this one. They didn't offer anything.

Great small hotel. Very quiet at night and during day. Staff knows limited English so brush up on English. Breakfast of coffee, orange juice, chocolate croissants , 2 types of cut up fruit, some days granola and some boxed cereals. U can order off menu as well for around 110 pesos or $6+ bucks or more for ok breakfast. Small plunge pool. Great section of beach with great day beds for chilling. No air conditioning but most nights not an issue as they give you fans. Very clean place. Friendly if you make the effort… Cons: Around 3pm music starts…. And doesn’t stop tilll 8 or 9… heavy club music… great if you have had multiple drinks buts get very annoying when u just want to listen to waves and chill. Don’t really understand it. Saw multiple people approach hotel for drinks but were turned off by loud house music. Hotel losing valuable revenue by having music so loud with not much variation. How many times do you have to listen to Lady Gaga blaring. Just saw family of 5 leave and walk further down beach to get away from pounding music.. turn it down already .. not sure what they are thinking … ruining the vibe

Good day. I tried to arrange an appointment for a massage with Oscar H. He's difficult to deal with. 😕 I tried on two separate occasions, with no luck. This time he told me, "he is all booked up for two solid weeks." 🤭🤣 Somehow, I doubt that very much in low season. l.o.l. I'm told he is a good massure. Good beachfront location. Other staff seems to be friendly and helpful. Other choices exist. Thank you.

Maravillosa experiencia en el BUDAMAR. Un hotel con vistas preciosas, alberca, restaurante literalmente con los pies en la playa. Un lugar que merece toda vuestra atención... el equipo es profesional, joven y dinámico. Idealmente ubicado, podrán apreciar una gran tranquilidad y a la vez una cercanía con todos los restaurantes y bares de la zona. El único problema con el que se toparan sera: No querer irse de este hotel!!! Gran experiencia. Gracias.

El hotel, no tiene buenos servicios, la caja fuerte nunca funcionó, no hicieron mi cuarto y l verdad deja que desear la atención. El restaurante es muy bueno, y el aguachile es excepcional. Hay mejores opciones en zipolite por el mismo precio.
