I will get to the reason I titled this review when I get near the end but I just want to start off by saying that I genuinely do my best to write honest and fair reviews from a realistic viewpoint, so please consider that when reading this review for the hotel. Its actually a really nice looking, traditional Andalusian style hotel, predominantly made up of rooms over just two floors with only 20 or so rooms on a third floor. The place is clean and the staff friendly. Bearing in mind the three star rating, the hotel itself and the surroundings of the hotel is quaint with really well maintained, attractive gardens. There are three pools in separate 'courtyards' and plenty of sunloungers. Oh and despite being close to a busy A7 dual carriageway, its actually really quiet, you genuinely cant hear the traffic (which was surprising). The seating around the external bars and entertaining area are all the classic white and green plastic patio type, so again nothing stylish, but does the job....of giving you somewhere to sit. Its a three star hotel so the rooms arent palatial or full of mod cons, they are ok, you know, nice but ok. There is no iron, fridge or coffee machine in the rooms but there is a hairdryer and a TV which does have the main British channels (BBC1,2, ITV, Channel 4 and 5). Oh bring a nice soft towel from home, the ones here are the type that not only dry you but exfoliate the skin. We first thought that we were drying ourselves with a bath mat each! The food at all inclusive resorts can be quite a contentious subject and ive noticed that there are some reviews for here saying that the food is samey and not a lot of choice. Well to a degree I agree with that. We just stayed here for a week and I think if I stayed for more, the food may have become an issue but to be fair yes its relatively samey with slight variations of fish, chicken and pork with the occasional lamb thrown in. The pasta is.....pasta and the salad is .......salad as well as chips and a differing style of potato. However, there is always something to eat, it tastes nice and you can always mix up your meals with chicken and chips, pork and salad, chicken and pasta etc etc. I do have to agree with some reviews saying the food was cold, it was tepid at best, but there is a microwave you can whack your plate in if needed. Similarly in regards to food, people complaining about breakfast and not a lot of choice. Well that's just not true. I dont know about you but at home at best I may have a full English once in a while, but as a rule its just either toast or cereal. Well here they have various cereals, toast, all your ingredients for full English, pastries, meats, cheeses, donuts, yoghurt and fruit. So goodness only knows what those people that say there is no choice have on a regular basis?!? When it gets busy at feeding time, it gets busy, so be prepared to have things missing at certain times and not restocked. Now to the reason I gave this review its title
