Sporting Clubresidence

We stayed in an apartment, self-catering, as a family of four, for a week of skiing. The apartments are a bit small, as other reviewers have commented, but we were organised with our use of space and coped with this, even with all of our skiing gear. The kitchenette is small, just two hobs, a fridge/freezer, and a microwave. However they do provide enough pots and pans and crockery/cutlery so we managed to cook a few simple evening meals. Luckily we had read previous reviews about no kettle in the kitchenette, we brought our own travel kettle, which was very useful. The bunk beds and sofa beds were fine, very comfortable for us, we slept very well, the hotel was quiet at night. The hotel swimming pool was lovely to relax in after a day of skiing. There were a lot of children in the pool at times, but at other times it was quiet. The wellness/sauna area is nice also. You really don't have to hire the bathrobes from the hotel, which are costly, there is a changing room at the pool. The hotel bar area is a bit basic, just a cluster of tables and chairs in the hotel foyer, we did not use it much. The games room was OK, you can play table tennis but the table football is out of order. The hotel is generally clean and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful. However we did have to ask for a second room key (four of us sharing the room) and also ask for the ski storage locker key, it would be better if they just offer these things to guests. San Martino is a lovely town and Residence Sporting is located right in the centre. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants, trinket shops, bookshop, very nice atmosphere. The Dolomite peaks seem to surround the town like it is in a bowl. The only downside is that the ski slopes are quite spaced out, you really have to use the ski bus service to get from the hotel to the slopes. However once on the slopes there are a variety of red and blue options in particular, excellent for intermediate skiers like ourselves.

Everything from food, employees, rooms was just perfect! Close to the center, close to ski bus station. Kids Mini Club was ideal for our 3 years old girl and swimming pool was great for everyone after skiing. We had a very nice stay as a family of 5...

It is situated very close to the ski lift. The rooms are spacious. The pool area is great to relax after a long ski day. The staff is very kind and always available. If you come with kids, they have a lovely mini club where the kids can play and are being cared for. There is also a rich fun program in the evenings. I would highly recommend it.

The rooms provide a stunning morning view of the Dolomites. Rooms are big enough for families with two kids. However, the only issue with the rooms is the electrical sockets. They are EU sockets but slightly smaller, which made it possible to charge my phone in all sockets, but only one socket could fit my laptop charger. Also, please be careful while using the electric stove. If you cook two things at once on maximum heat, it may overload the fuses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a great value for the price. We have stayed here three times already and will definitely return again.

Siamo stati coccolati per tutto il soggiorno, non mi aspettavo un trattamento così preciso,e professionale, colazioni abbondanti e varie,la cena era un rito, specialità del posto,bene molto bene.Complimenti a tutto lo Staff. Sicuramente il prossimo anno torniamo a farci coccolare.

Già conoscevamo questa struttura perché è il secondo anno che veniamo ed molto bella ed accogliente. Situata in centro e molto comoda a tutti i servizi compreso il collegamento con le zone sciistiche. Personale molto gentile e cordiale. Un apprezzamento particolare lo faccio alla donna delle pulizie Roberta, che è stata gentilissima e molto carina. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
