This Hostel is if you want to party, but even then you have much nicer hostels that are the same price. It has a good location, but it didn't feel safe at all. It also is really small, the rooms were really small, the eating area was small and not nice.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Don’t buy shuttle tickets from here to Costa Rica, it’s a scam. We booked and paid for a shuttle to La Fortuna a few days before and they were very helpfully and friendly, however we should have trusted our gut based on how casual they were about it all. We were told that the “shuttle” would involve a private car to the border, and from there we would take a Shuttle bus to our destination. All was going to plan as the driver met us, drove us to the border, dropped us off to the Tica Bus Employees (they were in the correct uniforms, however really not sure if they were legitimate or not) who escorted us through the border process out of Nicaragua. Once we were out however and could not turn back, they proceeded to tell us that the bus was full and that we would have to find our own way from here. After much back and forth they refunded us $20 of the $70USD we had paid and we had to figure the rest of our journey out ourselves. As it was a Sunday we already knew that it would be hard to get to La Fortuna which is why we booked a shuttle. We ended up getting a lift to Liberia with some friendly travelers with a car, from there a local bus to Canas and then an $80US taxi to our destination. Save yourself a lot of effort and just book a shuttle with Caribe or a ticket directly with Tica. Don’t book through this hostel.

The place offers a shuttle service to Costa Rica. It's the worst experience I've had in a long time!!! There were 5 of us who had booked to Liberia and San Jose respectively. When we buy the trip, we are told that we must drive the same car all the way, but that of course we must have our luggage scanned at the border, but that after immigration we will be driven to our respective areas in Costa Rica. When we arrive at the border we are dropped off at a parking lot and told to wait for a bus that will arrive in 45 minutes!!!! What!!!! I called the place and they tried to convince us that they had said that when we bought the trip... They were full of lies and very flabby and rude. None of the 5 of us had received that message! They ended up saying there would be a shuttle on the other side of the border, which also turned out to be false information. When I tried to call again, they didn't pick up the phone. I CAN UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES RECOMMEND USING THEIR SERVICE !!!! Add for a treat, in an otherwise wonderful country

Nuestra estadía fue de dos noches, me pareció un lugar tranquilo y acogedor, tienen un personal amable en el hostal que te hacen sentir cómodo y tranquilo. Llegas y te enamoras de Charlie, es un perrito dulce y amoroso. La ubicación es perfecta; el mar está a una cuadra, tiene cerca restaurantes, tiendas y farmacias para cualquier emergencia. Durante los dos días que estuvimos hicimos uso de los Shuttles a las playas que ofrecen, súper recomendado, el precio incluye ida y vuelta y se puede disfrutar por todo un día. Para regresar a casa, debíamos tomar un vuelo en el aeropuerto de Liberia (CR) que ellos también ofrecen ese tipo de Shuttle, el precio era accesible, después de pasar migración llegamos rápido a nuestro destino, en todo momento fueron atentos y amables. Les recomiendo demasiado este Hostal.

Una Excelente ubicación, el lugar muy limpio , el personal excelente es un lugar pequeño y acogedor a unos pocos metros de la playa….. sin duda alguna volveré a visitarlos. La pasé muy bien y fue una buena experiencia de ahí tomamos transporte hacia las playas ya que de ahí puedes solicitar su servicio.
