This hotel is a hidden gem in walking distance of the city center and the convention center. Currently, parking is free there, so that alone is a reason to go there instead of the usual chains. The person who runs this place is doing it with utmost dedication and love for the property and the guests. Everything is in top condition, the room is clean and provides everything needed for a business trip. I would give the facilities 5/5 if the towels would be of a slightly softer quality.

I booked this hotel for a solo getaway to attend the GalaxyCon convention happening nearby. I am always nervous about staying at a hotel by myself, but as soon as I walked into the lobby, I felt relieved. I unfortunately forgot to ask for his name, but I was greeted by a lovely man who had all the best jokes and puns! He made me feel very safe and even wished me an early happy birthday. Aside from the very easy and quick check in, my room was amazing. For it being the standard room, it was much bigger than anticipated. It was very clean and had great amenities. It was also a breeze to walk to the convention center with it only being about a 10 minute walk. There’s even a great coffee shop right next to the hotel. I absolutely recommend this place. I will definitely be booking again should I need a place to stay in San Jose.

3 story motel near downtown We were here for the jazz festival and the hotel was walking distance to the festival. Nick was very welcoming and let us check in early for a fee with the extra bonus of free parking for both days. The room hotel was clean and updated in a quiet area. Microwave and refrigerator, no coffee or tea and no ice machines, but Nick gave us a bag of ice. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was noisy and it gets pretty hot in San Jose.

Great stay, comfortable beds & super clean rooms. Good location steps away from the SJ Convention Center. Friendly welcome at reception, the bed was super comfortable and the room amenities were great. The whole place is super clean. Can't beat it for the price. Good coffee shop next door too. I'll be back!
