삼스 VIP 호스텔 산 힐(Sam's VIP Hostel San Gil)

Cant speak highly enough of Sams VIP!!! This place has it all. Best location right on the main plaza with a balcony that looks over the square. The staff and Sam himself are more that accommodating with every question I had. It felt like a home away from home! Ended up staying for a full week. :)

I came back after 9 long years, and wishing to going back again but don't taking that long. Definitely best hostel in the area, lovely room with jacuzzi, giant bathroom, the shared areas where always clean, beautiful pool with a view and the sauna was the best after a long day doing activities outside. Girls (Daniela and Vanessa) at reception were a top notch, they organized all types of activities during our short stay, we even had time for a relaxing massage. Love you people from Sam's, best staff and hostel in San Gil!!!

Great hostel with good quality facilities, location and security. Excellent receptionists who are happy to help out with anything. Very easy to book activities with of which there is a wide range available.

Sams VIP is an amazing hostel. The rooms are clean and spacious, the prices are very reasonable, and the location is right smack in the middle of town. They also have a cute little pool right on the top of the building where you can relax and look out on the town. Though the thing that I find to be best about the hostel is the staff…they are so friendly and so accommodating. I met a total of 5 while I was there and they all wanted to make sure I had everything I needed, that I could do all the activities I wanted to do, how to get from one place to another, and even helped me practice my Spanish. I’ll be back!

They just send me a text cancelling my reservation for the next day. Totally incompetent at handling their booking system. After they canceled my reservation they still showed availability on ***********. Very disappointing experience.

We stayed at Sams VIP for four nights and really enjoyed it. The staff Vanessa and Daniela were very helpful and friendly. They helped us book our paragliding and white water rafting tours and also helped us print our bus tickets. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was perfect! Location, service, environment, hosts, amenities and cleanliness. The hostel is located right in the main square, yet the rooms are quiet. The front desk ladies are EXTREMELY friendly and attentive to all the guests. Also very safe as the entrance and exit are monitored by cameras by the front desk staff. The hostel is open and spacious and has a balcony over looking the main square. There’s a pool, sauna (all working) hot water with good shower pressure and decent Wi-Fi. Highly recommend this hostel, even if you don’t generally prefer hostels.

I stayed 4 nights at Sam VIP hostal and I can highly recommend it to backpackers. It is easy to meet other travelers and the receptionists (Melisa and Rosalva) were super welcomming and helpful with tours and transfer to bucaramanca airport. I would come back if I go to San Gil.

Fantastic hostel - can highly recommend. Staff are brilliant, rooms are clean and comfortable, the facilities are very good (including pool and sauna), great location and you can book all your activities here too. It is excellent value for money!
