This hotel was a dream come true for my kids. It was magical. I highly recommend the splurge.

Don’t want to get into too much detail. I’m writing this while staying at the Castle Hotel. This review coming from a Disney Vaction Club member and someone who stays often at the Disney Grand. First off the restaurant (Dragons Den) is overpriced and the food is meh. The burger wasn’t good, however the salmon was good. The server took our order (got order wrong on one) served our drinks and we didn’t see here again until we go our check (which I had to flag had down for). Stayed at the deluxe wizards room. Room feels like a Holiday Inn wrapped in wizards and knights wallpaper. Bedding was comfy, kids room is pretty cool. But for us the room felt small and dark. Bathroom is normal and very basic, but really good water pressure in the shower. Room has small fridge , 2 waters and a Keurig with some K cups. We were hoping to get laundry done, laundry room is only located at at the castle hotel (3rd floor). Very small room and only 4 units. But all units were out of order, so we were very disappointed with that. Overall I’m glad we were finally able to experience the Legoland Hotel, but we are leaving feeling very underwhelmed and disappointed in the overall experience. Kids loved it however as they had plenty of play areas outside the hotel and I guess at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.

The room came with a little scavenger hunt where the kids got a lego prize afterwards. I like the layout of the room because the parents and kids have a bit of space, but eating together is a bit cramped. By the way, if you need to use the microwave, there is one next to the ice maker. by the way a special thanks to Isidora and her lobby partner Jorge were very friendly with my family, they gave us recommendations what to visit and where to eat, thanks it was nice to meet them good job.

Walking down the corridors to our room, it was pretty dark. But once inside, kids loved it. We got a knight themed room so the bunk bed was decorated with shields and banners. There was a night light that illuminated a constellation on the ceiling, very cute. And a Lego building area on the wall. The room also has a safe with a prize, just need to figure out the lock combo by finding the clues throughout the hotel, a fun scavenger hunt for the kids! Also appreciated all the kid-friendly touches, like the bathroom stool for the sink and kid sized toilet seats. Well done. Outside, they have a kids playground and giant lego pieces. Also a large screen with showtimes throughout the day/night, our kids caught the Lego Movie during the day. the staff is very nice, Isidora in particular is a great person and Jorge is also very nice, both in the lobby are committed to the guest service, 2 employees who are committed to their work.
