We spent 4 nights at Lagacio and everything was perfect. The staff were all lovely and helpful and we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The rooms were spacious and well thought out - larger than many a condo in Toronto! Breakfast was to die for. Beautiful buffet, or eggs from a menu and always a special of the day. Crepes one day, a soft boiled egg with spec another. Lovely lounge for a cocktail or glass of wine. Great massages in the spa. Shuttled to gondola daily and simply text for pickup. Restaurant recommendations and reservations made. Right in centre of town so walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Highly, highly recommended!

We spent a week in their larger apartment with a family of five. It was great! Fireplace, mountain views from the balcony, modern bathrooms and kitchen, even a private sauna. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the service overall, including concierge ski service. Worth the money!

We have stayed at Lagacio several times and from the moment you step inside (and are greeted by the porter in the car park), it feels like home in the Dolomites. Well presented rooms/apartments; very comfortable beds; clean and elegant spa facilities, very friendly staff and a sumptuous breakfast every single time. Conveniently located in San Cassiano to the chairlifts and the main street. We intend to continue staying here for many years to come.

Wonderful hotel, gorgeous modern decor with natural wooden vibe. Arrived in San Cassiano & there it was! Parked beneath in the underground garage & met my the concierge who took our bags to our room whilst we enjoyed welcome drinks in the lounge area. We loved our room - a little suite of spacious bedroom & large modern bathroom, connected to a dressing room (great for all luggage), kitchenette & living room area. All opening out onto a balcony affording great views over the town & mountains. Pluses - large comfy beds, best rain shower. Pod coffee machine. Large plentiful buffet breakfast with eggs made to order & great service. Only negative - on the main road, overlooks carpark unless you sit down on balcony. The other side of hotel does open out onto the charming pedestrian area of the town leading to shops & restaurants. Raw wooden decking of balcony got 2 splinters - one easily removed, other deep in foot. Slippers supplied, didn’t realise until afterwards. Our favourite hotel of 5 we stayed at during our Dolomites & Venice trip. Every little thing catered for, we didn’t have to think of a thing.

We came back after 11 years and the Hotel still looked like it opened yesterday. The upkeep and attention to detail is really outstanding The apartment is very comfortable and cleverly designed. The staff is very friendly and helpful The breakfast was fabulous [ the combination of having both an apartment with the possibility of breakfast is ideal] Twice a week you can cook a meal with ingredients prepared by a chef [ we ordered a vegetarian meal] it was so plentiful that it was enough for another day There is indoor parking There are numerous cable cars in the vicinity, You could even go from Corvora up to the Gardner Pass by cable The combined microwave oven was a bit difficult to use.

I have bene lucky as I have stayed in several hotels in different countries, but I've never seen anything like the "Ammonite" suite at Lagacio'. Amazing, warm, welcoming, with incredible attention to detail. The water fountain "L'ega e' vita" (see picture) is a touch of genius. The service at the hotel is impeccable. Fantastic (included) breakfast, free cakes are offered in the afternoon. Ladin culture is seen throughout the beautiful building. Wow, I hope I 'll have a chance to come back.
