The hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We had a lovely stay in a 2 room suite next to the grand salon. We had access to our own kitchen and living space. The pool was perfect for our 2 daughters. The food was outstanding. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend.

We did not stay in the hotel, but did eat at the wonderful restaurant. The food is extremely delicious and well-prepared with a variety of options, including vegetarian. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable. The hotel and restaurant's decor can best be described as lifted from Great-Grandma's living room and gardens, if Great-Grandma was the coolest woman on the planet in her day. Very eclectic. Very stylishly up-cycled. There's a decent wine selection. While there aren't a ton of great restaurants in El Valle to choose from, this one is actually worth a trip from Panama City for a special lunch and a chance to get out of the heat and enjoy El Valle's spectacular views.

Lovely cosy little boutique hotel. Went as part of a bird watching tour - there were 12 of us and we basically took over the grounds, it became like staying at a friend’s house. Rooms are well proportioned and clean, all with AC. Service was amazing - the staff was wonderful and helpful whether it was about laundry or more towels etc. Food was excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. You also have the option of sitting outside to eat in the gardens, and you should! It’s great! One last thing. The hotel has rather eclectic decorations. It’s a place on its way to becoming maximalist in terms of decor, but not entirely there yet. It may work for some, it may not - I found it quite charming.

We stayed three nights at Casa Tierra Madre and enjoyed our experience greatly! The interior and courtyard decor were just amazing, beautiful and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and we had fantastic dinners each night. The food so deliciously prepared and presented and every dish was exceptional. Most importantly the service was outstanding! Ceasar was our man and took good care of us, assuring everything was perfect. It was nice to have a rental car because the hotel is a short drive from the main town. We all had a wonderful time and highly recommend Casa Tierra Madre, if you are looking for comfort, great food and fantastic service!

Wonderful spot! Wonderful spot just outside of the main part of El Valle. Beautifully maintained property with lush landscaping and eclectic but very well done interior design. Our room had amazing high ceilings and modern bathroom. Feels like being in an old castle! Breakfast was excellent as well.

Lovely place ! This hotel is located a few minutes drive from the centre of the town. It has a very special design (much of everything). Rooms on ground floor are well maintained and comfortable in a good size. Products in shower were nice. Rooms simple but nice. Free parking outside. A small patio with pool (not big enough to swim in) but nice to rest around. Breakfast was good quality and served to table. Dinner was fair. What really stands out is the service, it is just amazing, friendly and warm.

A beautiful, unique property with quiet, peaceful spaces that are full of art and a wonderful garden. The rooms are comfortable and extremely clean with good air conditioning. The restaurant has lots of choices and the food is excellent. On top of all of this, the service provided by Cesar is exceptional! He was always smiling, friendly and very helpful. He made recommendations on restaurants in town and things to do, including arranging a bird guide for us. There is some traffic noise during the day (it is very quiet at night). You need a car as it is a 10 minute drive out of town.

This place is a hidden gem! You’re surrounded by a lush tropical garden with excellent room and dining services. The dining room and the Octagon are like museums with decor from all over the world. We reserved the deluxe studio suite, but due to the recent rains, the roof was leaking so they upgraded us to the family studio suite, their largest room. It was clean and spacious with a large walk in closet. Breakfast was sumptuous, and we had dinner there both evenings. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! I’ve been recommending my friends to stay in this paradise when they visit el valle. Next time I’m in Panama, I will definitely want to go back there!
