Very few areas on Sam Rayburn lake have a public boat ramp and this is one of them. (We consider it private since it's in our subdivision and very few know about it.) House sits on one lot with two additional empty lots, so there is plenty of room to spread out. Most all the property in the subdivision are weekend homes with many being in their families for many years, so most are very proud of what they have. If you like telling fish stories, throwing washers, playing 42 and just mingling with the neighbors, we believe you'll enjoy this area. Grocery stores are about 10 miles away East or West in Broaddus and Pineland, with Powell Park about the same distance South. Lufkin and Jasper are both about 45 minutes away.
