The Crossroads Inn

What a wonderful stay. My daughter and I stayed for the night after attending a cooking class at Pippin. Check in was a nice mix of what the Inn had to offer as well as the wonderful history. The Roosevelt Suite was roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. I’d return just for the homemade cinnamon bun! Already looking forward to our next stay. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Such a quaint Inn with wonderful charm. Many original qualities including the beautiful hardwoods. Rooms are not huge but comfortable. My room included a Nespresso machine with plenty of pod choices. The handwritten personalized note waiting in my room was a nice personal touch. Bed was comfortable and the linens smelled fresh. Breakfast is included and was made to order by the chef and came out nice and hot, using farm fresh ingredients including eggs from the chickens on the property. Very close to Pippin Hill Vineyard (walkable) with beautiful views. Experience was great. Did not give 5 stars because the stairs are a little steep if your room is on the second floor and you have to carry bags up and down it is not going to be easy for everyone. The staff was very welcoming. I recommend for a variety of occasions. Also note there are no TVs in the room, but the free WiFi worked well.

The Inn is a wonderful historic place that is right next to the Pippin Hill Farm Winery. It is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting the winery and want to have a full, relaxing evening and be a short walk away from your room. The Inn is well maintained and all the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are all amazing. We received a test from the manager the morning of our arrival asking when we might arrive at the Inn so that they could have things ready for us. They were even willing to have our room ready by 12:30 pm so that we could check-in before having lunch at the winery. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful with amazing service. We were served two different items for breakfast that were definitely homemade. Much more than you normally get at a B&B. We would definitely stay there again.

We did a 4 day getaway to relax and enjoy some outdoor activities. The Inn was perfectly located to enjoy day trips. And the breakfast provided by the chef will definitely start your day right! Matt is the perfect innkeeper, attentive to our every need, a wealth of info about the area. Our room was well organized and spacious enough to meet our needs. Pippin Hill Winery right next door is perfect for relaxing with a beautiful view and a glass of wine. We will definitely visit again!

Beautiful Country Inn in the foothills outside of Charlottesville. Convenient to downtown, UVA, Monticello, Montpelier and multiple wineries. Right next door to Pippin Hill Winery. Exceptionally friendly and professional staff. Breakfast each day was exceptional.

The staff at the Crossroads Inn are extremely helpful and make every effort to accommodate requests from their guests. Our breakfasts were deliciously prepared by Chef Joe. Not only were they tasty and filling, but their presentations made you hungry just from the visual appeal of the plate. Well done!
