Pros: great location (5-10 minute walk to the Grand Massif gondola in one direction, 5-10 minute walk to the center of town in the other direction), beautiful town, great restaurants and food, fun skiing. The chalet was nicely decorated and laid out (Chalet Crocus), beds comfy, nice view onto the field where the parapenters land. Nice-sized pool with 2 hot tubs, sauna, steam room. Cons: they charge you if you dont clean up upon departure (‘full’ clean of kitchen, ***** all beds, take out all garbages, run dishwasher and then put away all the clean dishes in the cabinets, etc). Bathrooms weren’t very clean - but the rest of the chalet was. Hot tubs were only lukewarm. Those are all little annoyances - the dealbreaker was the wifi - disconnects from your device constantly - have had to reload it THREE times just writing this review. When we inquired at the front desk they said the wifi ‘resets’ every hour (they didnt have an explanation for why….we have never been in an airbnb or hotel that does that?) - but it drops every 5-10 minutes from every device, in reality. We were here for 1 week and it never got any better. I really love the town and liked the chalet a lot, but until they fix the wifi situation I will not return.

I’m afraid this is a sorry tale of very poor customer service, zero empathy and a feeling that I have been ripped off. I booked an apartment last minute for 2 people on 4th March 2022, to arrive on 11th March 2022. I did this by email with the team at CGH Reine des Pres. Importantly, they did not ask if I wanted insurance, little did I know this at the time. On 6th March I tested positive for COVID (an official government PCR test), meaning the trip has had to be cancelled. Absolutely gutted, I got in contact with the team at Reine des Pres, who told me that I needed to contact the booking team. I contacted the booking team in Annecy and they told me to contact the team at the Reine des Pres. The booking team in Annecy told me that they thought that I shouldn’t be refunded as I didn’t buy the insurance. I told them that I wasn’t offered insurance. They told me that this is strange as I should have been and told me that I should contact the team at Reine des Pres who I booked through. When I described that I had paid them €1,104 just 5 days ago for a service that I would no longer receive through no fault of my own, I asked whether this sounded fair. The person I spoke to agreed that this sounded very unfair, but could not help me (despite speaking with her manager). Computer says no. I have re-contacted the team at Reine des Pres, but I’m still waiting for a response. Having paid €1,104 only a few days ago for an apartment I am not going to be able to use in 2 days time, is pretty soul destroying. Couple that with the fact that this could have been avoided if I were offered the insurance option (which I certainly would have taken in the current environment) and it feels that I am being punished for an error that was not made by me. I have all the evidence I need in email correspondence and have raised a payment dispute with my credit card, but the whole experience has not been pleasant. It’s stress that I do not need as I am in bed with COVID, barely able to speak, with a very painful sore throat and a bad cough. I am still hopeful that CGH will do the fair and right thing, but let’s see…

Les points + Accueil excellent La piscine ,les hammams, saunas et jacuzzi La situation au centre du village Les logements spacieux et qualité de la literie Les points à améliorer : salle de fitness à revoir ( certains appareils ne fonctionnent plus ) Notre logement pour 8 disposait d un minuscule balcon ( 4 personnes au max !), heureusement nous n étions que 3 mais sinon pas possible de tenir à 8 dehors ! - le parking gratuit avant devenu payant

Séjour en été. Très belle résidence, très bien localisée. Accueil agréable. Malheureusement nous avons bénéficié d’un logement pour 6 qui donnait sur la route extrêmement passante; il y avait bien une terrasse pour manger mais le bruit est vraiment très désagréable et gênant. Donc nous ne l’avons pas utilisée. Nous étions obligé de fermer systématiquement les fenêtres en journée; et la nuit, boules quies nécessaires si fenêtres ouvertes. L’appartement manquait aussi de lumière. Le logement est en état satisfaisant, mais le tissu du canapé est vraiment vieillissant (cela fait sale), la douche est vieillissante aussi. Le ménage laissait à désirer avec énormément de poussière sous les deux lits et le WC sentait mauvais toute la semaine même si visuellement, le WC semblait propre. En raison d’une absence pour maladie, les draps et serviettes sales des logements du chalet de la semaine précédente(rez de chaussée et premier etage) sont restés à notre arrivée presque 24h en boule dans les parties communes. Cependant ceci a été nettoyé après avoir alerté l’accueil. Les coussins sont d’une taille misérablement petite…cependant nous en avons obtenu d’autres après avoir demandé à l’accueil. La résidence est plutôt bien entretenue, la piscine est agréable, et le parking est bien pratique. Enfin nous avons réservé au dernier moment et avons payé presque 1600 euros pour seulement 5 nuits Au final mitigé. Un conseil: s’assurer d’avoir un logement au calme

Mon séjour a été exceptionnel. L'accueil chaleureux et professionnel du personnel, combiné à la beauté et au confort des chambres, a rendu mon expérience inoubliable. Le piscine et les installations extérieures sont superbes, et le restaurant offre une cuisine exquise. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour une escapade luxueuse et relaxante.

Bon séjour qui aurait pu être encore meilleur. La situation est top et les services proposés par la résidence sur le papier sont bien mais pourraient être mieux pour une résidence 4*. Appartements vieillissants. Nous avons réservé 2 app cote a cote, ce qui nous a ete confirme a 2 reprises en debut de semaine mais a notre artivee non, 1 au 2eme et lautre au 1er etage. Un canapé hs, des meubles plein de coups, poêles hs, seulement 2 codes WiFi qui fonctionnent très mal pour un app de 8 pers (après 2 passages à réception on m'en redonne 2 autres), 1 lave linge sur 3 qui fonctionne et laverie hyper sale, Couloirs nettoyes qu1 fois pendant la semaine et franchement tres sales. Nous avons passé un bon séjour; app bien équipé, belle déco, ménage ok, personnel accueil très sympa, espace piscine top, emplacement résidence idéal. Pour connaître ces résidences, celle ci demande une petite révision pour être au niveau 4 étoiles.
