Awful experience - arrived at the hotel to be informed it was overbooked and the lodge we had booked was unavailable. No prior communication and said they had just hoped there was a cancellation instead which would've resolved for them. Hotel reservation manager was unhelpful, unapologetic and very unprofessional. They offered instead to book us into an alternative hotel in Agadir which was nowhere close to the same standard, and instead provided accommodation for one night in their basic room type. Finally resolved the next day as they instead let us stay in the same room which unfortunately meant whoever had booked it would've faced the same issue as us - which seemed to be a common issue. However the room offered was situated right next to the bird enclosure of the zoo which meant putting up with the constant noise from the birds which prevented getting a good night of sleep over the holiday. Stingy with water provided (one bottle a day), and the very limited food options for breakfast/dinner were repetitive and unimaginative. Staff speak very basic English so wouldn't advise if you cant speak French. Will not be returning and absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here at all.

As everyone has stated the resort itself it is beautiful the pool area stunning , Major problem many of the staff don’t speak much English so so much was lost in translation. We had a package from flights to transport and a half board dinner. Check in was really smooth our luggage was taken we were offered a drink which was nice. This is where it gets weird the receptionist asked us to take a picture with our phone about the spa & treatments. I was a bit taken back l have travelled all over world and stayed in a lot of hotels. And the information was available in the room . Anyway a manager escorted us to our room on arrival we realised the room was upstairs and no lift . As 2 members of our group had mobility issues. The most able of the group went up to count how many stairs. I requested to see the room however we were told they were all the same. So we took the room downstairs that we were offered. We were told it was only for one night and we would be moved to the room next door on Monday The room was nice and quiet spacious and king size bed and a massive sofa which I slept on and it was comfortable. We were fine with moving to the next room as a couple were going to have our room. Also that they would move our luggage and a valuables would be left in the hotel safe. We had organised a trip for the next day via reception we were taken by reception to the car park where there was a taxi waiting. I asked if there was air conditioning and it was a no this was a first for me we were advised the driver spoke English. I got into the front seat and my friends at the back l put my seat belt on then one of my friends there was no seat belt. As the driver did not speak English he called the receptionist back to interpret for us. I explained our concerns about the air conditioning she asked him about this he told us no taxi have air conditioning. I then asked about the seat belt we were told it was not necessary to wear one. The taxi was quite dirty and there was something strange instead of carpet on the floor, It was at this point we decided not to use the unsafe transport. We then went on line to find alternative trips this was with a company I have used on numerous occasions. As it was not possible to get a trip that day we went to seat by the pool waiting for our room to be available. The pool area was lovely and we decided to have lunch with cocktails. We were not called or advised that our room was ready we saw a member of staff and asked him if the room was ready. He came to say it was we were taken to the room next door we were in shock when we saw the room we couldn’t speak. That also squeezed in another bed right next to the king size. We were quite depressed as it was horrible and small. No big screen smart tv which was a shame as we had Netflix membership. This was to much so l went to reception with my friend we explained that we were not happy with the room and the few channels on the tv we’re in French. The manager said that it

We decided to book this resort based on the amazing reviews and were very much looking forward to spending 8 nights here. The price was comparable to other resorts in Agadir but we loved the idea of not being too close to the central touristy bit and we have a hire car to drive around. The resort is absolutely visually stunning, with one of the most amazing zoos with a wide variety of well kept animals including a giraffe which is stunning and you can actually feed it if you’re lucky enough! The horses are incredible as is the stable they’re kept in. There are birds and a wallaby and ostriches and black swans and peacocks! All amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and will do anything to ensure you have a good stay! However, there is a LOT wrong with this resort! The main parts being the family rooms and the food situation. Firstly the room: For a family room that can sleep 4, there nowhere nearly enough storage for all the clothes. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang damp towels. There are 5 hangers in the one tiny cupboard. The balcony is large , however only one small 2 seater table and 2 chairs. There is so much potential for this to be an amazing hangout space. The front door needs to be slammed to close. The coffee table is never cleaned. Glasses are never replaced. Water pressure in the shower is terrible! Also at times it goes scalding hot and can easily burn a child. Never enough soap or toilet paper. Bed is too hard and uncomfortable - like sleeping on bedrock! My wife got a stiff neck from all the nights uncomfortable sleep and we never felt rested. Now the very worst part, the food situation: The Monkey Beach bar is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and amenable and will serve you food from 12-6pm, and even bring it to your room if you want. Which is great as there is no room service. Breakfast on the other hand at the Messa restaurant is very limited - quite a small section for such a large resort. I’ve had a wider variety at a budget hotel. It got so bad that I had to complain about the 3 day old pastries and the lack of cereals or cheese or anything - flies all over the pancakes and pastries! It did improve the next day. The waiters are fantastic but it seems out of their control and is poor management. Dinner is bloody awful! Let’s not beat around the bush! There is the restaurant next to reception and Messa. Buffet option only at both restaurants and at £30/head for dry chicken and over fried fish and some sinewy lamb which is never replenished and boiled veggies and plain rice. Salad bar untouched and a small selection of desserts. Pitiful and a complete rip off. We often went to bed without dinner or ventured to the snack shops in town which also had a very limited selection but much better than the hotel Also please note the pools are not heated and are freezing even when it’s baking note outside. I would only recommend this hotel for a few days tops. I would not return.

After reading the great reviews decided to book this hotel. Arrived at the airport to find that there was no vehicle to collect us so had to get a taxi. On arrival at the hotel only to be told that there was no booking for us and that we would have to pay for our rooms despite having our booking confirmation in writing they refused to accept this. Their partners Thalasso had verbally confirmed our booking but had not confirmed it in writing therefore we were told by the hotel manager that we would have to pay for our stay of 10 nights which was going to cost around £5000!! Also we didn't get the rooms that we booked, we were given a family room, so one couple had to have the adjoining twin room which really was supposed to be for 2 children. Another disappointment was the evening meal, for 8 nights we had the same type of food which consisted of a mixed salad for starters, the main course was over cooked chicken, which was bland and dry, the other choice was either lamb which was mainly bones and fat or dried up fish and this was every night. The breakfast was very good and the staff at breakfast were lovely (Butter and Habib) unfortunately I couldn't say the same for the evening staff and one was quite rude. There was nothing to do in the evenings with no entertainment, it would have been nice to have some music or local singers. Also we weren't informed about the construction that was going on so could be quite noisy during the day. This is such as lovely place but is let down by the management. The place has so much potential and would attract more guests if the food and activities were improved. Unfortunately it took the hotel 9 days to sort out our booking confirmation therefore we didn't have to pay the final bill, but we never received an apology from the hotel management for the stress and worry this caused us. This problems with the booking ruined our stay

What an amazing place, definitely exceeded our expectations, from fantastic facilities, very friendly staff, tasty food, scrumptious breakfast, beautiful grounds with lush vegetation, all exceptionally well maintained, including a zoo! Hadn’t expected that, but as with everything about the hotel and grounds, all very tasteful. A perfect place to relax in but if you do feel the need to go further afield there are excursions that can be booked to Agadir, Taroudant, all within easy reach.

Where do I start.. the service has been impeccable and words cannot describe. From the moment we arrived at the reception, we were taken care of to the highest standards. Special mention to our host Imane who has been very efficient to all our requests and needs and very professional. She has been available at all hours even outside of her working hours that shows the kindness of the people there! Mohammed, Karim and all the massa restaurant staff have been super accommodating ensuring I had a lovely birthday and was looked after. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

JE NE CONSEILLE ABSOLUMENT PAAAAAAAAAS! pour passer une belle journée dans un magnifique cadre ainsi que le service et finir aux urgences aaaaaaaaah pas du tout suggérer. Je vous épargne les détails, j’ai mangé dans votre restaurant vendredi dernier avec des amies et je tiens à vous signaler mon mécontentement. En effet, nous avons tous les 2 été malades toute la nuit ( j'ai eu une diarrhée aiguë et vomissement: intoxication alimentaire quoi). C’est scandaleux, la nourriture n’était pas fraîche (salade crevette avocat & penne bolognaise) , et je me demande si c’est en lien avec l'hygiène du restaurant ou ..... JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS ou sinon allez-y pour une journée ou un séjour mais attention à ce que vous mangez.
