Absolutely fell in love with this small boutique hotel literally in the middle of nowhere. One of the most heavenly beds and pillows! Amazing interior, great food, and what was possibly the greatest shower on earth. ! Superb EVERYTHING! Each room/suite is the name of a grape, each room with its own wifi. Fabulous memories❤️

The bed and the bathroom were the biggest and bestest we have ever had! I wish we had two sinks in our bathroom. The food is gorgeous and obviously all cooked in the hotel. And the hamburgers are great - a meal in themselves. Breakfasts can be slow but that is because it is freshly cooked and prepared. So take your time and enjoy the experience.

Exceptional customer service throughout our stay. The beautiful hotel offered a friendly and welcoming environment. Max couldn't have been more helpful and the restaurant staff were also great, in particular one of the female waitresses , unfortunately her name escapes us.

This hotel was fabulous from the booking, arrangements made on our behalf to a wonderful two days, highly recommend! The room was well appointed, turn down service included a gift, Max was there to help throughout our stay. Highly recommend and hope to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Palacio de Samaniego. The property has been beautifully restored and the hospitality is top level. The attention to detail, from interior design and artworks, to amenities and service is impeccable. Highly recommended.

The Hotel is fantastic. Fantastic dishes made with great professionalism by Chef Bruno Coelho. The service and affection of Mrs. Clara, Felipa and Miren with our son went far beyond what we could have expected. They were wonderful!! We love it!

Everything was exceptional. Loved the room, the service, the wine, the food! The girls enjoyed the pool and the outdoor area. The overall hospitality and luxurious but yet ‘Feel like home’ atmosphere is exceptional. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for amazing hospitality.

We had not anticipated staying here but our hotel in LaGuardia let us know there was an all night party in the square so this was a last minute decision. We couldn’t have been happier. The staff was excellent, the room was large, AC worked well, very comfortable bed! We had lunch and the food was great (hamburger and Spanish omelette). We also stayed in for dinner one night and the food was outstanding! We did the tasting menu. It’s well worth the money. Not exaggerating to say Michelin quality.

There is a lot to recommend this hotel. Beautiful building, superb design throughout, inventive food and good staff in the restaurant. However the Reception staff are surly and the housekeeping staff forgetful. Despite booking this six months in advance, our Malvasia Junior Suite (appears to be Accessible) overlooks the bike park; has a single sink, no bath, is quite dark and is at the top of the stairs despite having asked for a quiet room. Whilst the room decor and bathroom are very good there are some omissions like no conditioner and a faulty toilet that continually has water running. I phoned the day before to ask for a Suite called Tempranillo and was told the hotel was full. I personally would have thought having booked six months ago that we might have been allocated a decent suite. In asking for the Manager on Friday I was told they were off work till Monday. Furthermore the receptionist proceeded to argue with me about the room view telling me no room had a view. Given that I had booked a second room called Viura this was not really true. That room has a view of the gardens and mountains beyond. On our second day there were no bathroom mats put in the room and wet towels in the basket were not changed on night one either. The two small bottles of water in the fridge were not replaced and Reception told us you only get two bottles on your first day. No more than that. Overall I would recommend the Palacio but they really need to train their staff better.
