University Guest House & Conference Center

Really appreciate the access and affordability of the Guest House for our medical appointments. We live out of state and it is wonderful to have clean suites and friendly staff so readily available.

My husband and I had a good stay here. The room was very clean and large, there were lots of pillow options and the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was a step up from most hotels with two kinds of eggs and fresh berries along with the usual waffles, oatmeal etc. Two notes: It is not convenient to restaurants and stores but if you have a car it is not a problem. It is on the pricier (with taxes we paid $213/night) than other SLC options.

Great experience, conveniently located to U of Utah and the Medical Campus. Comfortable accommodations, decent breakfast selection, cabinet with games for any down time. A definite repeat when we are in SLC.

We found it to be pricy for the mediocre quality. The window coverings let light thru on the sides and top so the bright lights in the parking lot kept me up. It was also pretty noisy. I think it was the automatic sliding entrance door to the suite building, which we were in. The entrance door was just below our room. We also felt rushed to leave. Two different people came to our door, one at 11:00am and then another at 11:05 asking us to leave because check out was 11;00. Not very friendly service.

Fantastic in every way. Clean, comfortable, quality, beds, and pillows, hot water, and great pressure, close to everything, including facilities, Coffee Shop, walking, natural history, museum. Even breakfast was good.

Access to all upper campus buildings. Excellent breakfast every day. Staff was courteous and helpful. I would give this Guest House a 10!
