Beautiful hotel with great team to look after you. Very comfortable and nothing is too much trouble. Good location - just a short walk (10 Minutes) into Salò to the ferry terminal. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Magnolia restaurant is lovely but definite fine dining! We chose a room with a partial view of the lake but wouldn’t recommend the additional cost.

Wow! Hotel Laurin is a fabulous gem. The grounds are so beautiful and immaculately kept. The villa is stunning with many lovely seating areas and rooms to appreciate a variety of art. From the moment you pull in to when you drive away, the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. We chose a room with a beautiful balcony and lake front view. The bed was comfortable, and even with a full hotel, the room was super quiet and peaceful. The pool was sparkling clean, and I’d love to come back when it is warmer to use the pool and relax in the garden. The food was delicious. There were excellent options for breakfast, something to meet everyone’s needs! We had dinner twice at Magnolia, and hats off to the chef and the entire staff. They are so professional and attentive, making excellent recommendations with top notch flavor and presentation. There are many local wines on the list to compliment the regional flavors. Some highlights included a beautiful artichoke antipasti, the carbonara tortellini, the guinea fowl with truffle, and the filet. Every night for turndown service, they leave suggestions on things to do as well as a weather report. This led us to the Saturday market in town which is an easy walk through the town to Salo. The hotel is well located, easy to get around without a car. You can walk to the water taxi in less than 10 minutes, or It is also a nice drive to Limone to the north and Sirmione to the southeast as well as many other towns. We are sad to be driving away today but truly can’t wait to come again

We have stayed at Hotel Laurin twice now and twice we did not want to leave. This is a really special hotel. Its not really a hotel, its like you are arriving at the Rossi Family Villa back in the 60's but with the true elegance of Italy in 2025..... Its just effortlessly chic offering quiet luxury and has an ability to make you feel good from the moment you walk ( float ) through the doors. The Rossi family and their Hotel Manager - Romina have created a really wonderful hotel which from the moment you walk through the doors installs a feeling of true hospitality where your every need is cared for. There are little words to define how charming, beautifully curated and dreamy this "Villa' is and its matched by unparalleled service and care. From the moment the wonderful Pradeep rushed out to greet us closely followed by Romina we descended into a world of happiness and feeling good to be back at Hotel Laurin. Mr Rossi is always there to ensure his guests feel so welcome and happy in his villa and his personal attention reminds me how important it is to lead by example and bring that personal attention. Whether you sit and have a a lovely lunch on the terrace or an evening meal you are transformed into a world of old school elegance and charm but done with a modern level of luxury hospitality. There is no better place than to sit in Mr Rossi's lounge at 7pm and sink into the atmosphere of the music ( jazz ) and a negroni and smile looking at the incredible art and photography that adorn the walls at Hotel Laurin. Take the time to walk every room and public space to be stunned by the furnishings, art, design and culture of Hotel Laurin. I LOVE this hotel, I love what it stands for and how its a bastion of what an Italian Lake Side Villa should be..... Nothing is too much trouble and every member of staff is there to care for you and your needs. There is no happier moment than laying by their pool in tranquility and that eevning having a supper with spectacular dishes accompanied with incredible wines in such special surroundings. You leave planning when you can go back .... We loved Room 2.... the light, the modern touches and elegant furnishings and amenities. Dont hesitate, book Hotel Laurin and simply enjoy the real elegance and charm of this special hotel.

Stayed in Salò and enjoyed the luxury hotel Laurin and its facilities. Excellent location with walking distance to the promenade of Salò. We enjoyed a great breakfast and dinner from the balcony restaurant overlooking lake Garda. The pool and adjacent relaxing areas are amazing for a morning swim and reading books in a peaceful environment. We forgot some clothes when we checked out and the hotel was so helpful in organising this to be sent to us. The hotel is elegantly decorated with a unique mix of old and classical furniture and modern decor and art. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Garda area.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in mid October and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Anything negative at the time (small indeed) is insignificant to me now as I write this review. From the moment we drove up to the entrance (car pick up at train station was booked through the hotel), I felt like I had stepped into a scene from Downtown Abbey (Italian style). It was raining and we were greeted with umbrellas at the car, with the reservation manager waiting at the steps for us. I’ve never had a better greeting at a hotel in all my travels. This hotel exudes Italian charm and friendliness in a way we have not experienced in Italy before. I wish I knew the names of each person who worked the front desk - all were equally friendly and helpful in every way. We ate breakfast every morning on the deck overlooking the pool and a great view of the lake. The buffet for us was more than adequate (and we didn’t even order an omelette). I loved being able to ask for my cappuccino first thing (the server was so sweet). Our room overlooked the pool and had a small balcony with a lake view. We sat by the pool one day for an afternoon drink and loved getting served there. I usually make it a rule to never go back to the same place twice, but I may have to make an exception for Hotel Laurin. I didn’t want to leave and wish we had booked our entire time in Italy right there in Salo at this hotel. Also, short and nice walk to the central part of town where you can catch the ferry to other towns.

Fabulous building and hotel with wonderful service from all staff. Could be 5 stars based on attentive service. We would be happy to return.
