All good, except the beach could be clean more often

Recensione Negativa: Un 4 Stelle Che Non Ne Valeva Neanche 2 Ho soggiornato di recente presso questo resort e spa a 4 stelle, ma purtroppo la mia esperienza è stata estremamente deludente e ben lontana dagli standard che ci si aspetterebbe da una struttura di questo livello. Fin dall'inizio, i problemi si sono accumulati. I prezzi erano esorbitanti per l'unica offerta disponibile, e la situazione è peggiorata quando, pur essendo in due, sono stata costretta a prenotare una stanza tripla, con l'aggravante di dover pagare la colazione anche per la terza persona inesistente. Arrivati in camera, ci siamo ritrovati catapultati indietro nel tempo: una stanza che sembrava ferma agli anni '70, con un letto durissimo privo del topper, elemento fondamentale per un hotel a 4 stelle. Le tende oscuranti erano completamente inutili, permettendo alla luce di inondare la stanza già alle 6 del mattino e costringendomi a svegliarmi. Il bagno era in condizioni pessime, con macchie e ingiallimenti ovunque, un vero incubo. Alle 7 del mattino, esasperata, mi sono recata alla reception per chiedere un cambio stanza. La risposta è stata a dir poco sconcertante: mi è stata proposta una stanza identica, con gli stessi problemi, se non peggio, dato che la vista dal balcone era persino inferiore. Mi sono sentita presa in giro e la scortesia del personale ha solo acuito la mia frustrazione. A completare il quadro, in una struttura che si fregia di 4 stelle, ci si aspetterebbe un kit di cortesia (ciabatte, saponette, cuffiette), ma non ho trovato nulla di tutto questo. Ho chiesto il rimborso per la colazione della terza persona che non c'era, e mi è stato risposto che era impossibile perché avevo prenotato una tripla, nonostante la mia situazione. Colazione dolce con molti prodotti di quelli surgelati. Ho assaggiato un cornetto alla crema ed era fatto con tantissima panna. Unico lato positivo il tavolo dello yogurt e poi tutta la parte esterna (piscina e mare) In definitiva, è stata un'esperienza assolutamente negativa. L'hotel non rispetta minimamente gli standard di un 4 stelle, il servizio è stato scortese e poco disponibile, e la qualità delle camere è inaccettabile per il prezzo richiesto. Sconsiglio vivamente questa struttura.

My Friend and I visited for two nights at the start of May, we were so impressed we have decided that we shall visit as an annual trip now. Our only regret was only staying for the two nights. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful & the facility were great. It would seem we visited before the season in Trapani had started, which made the visit exceptionally peaceful and quiet. Although it seemed the hotel catered for children and families, there were only a few (I prefer adult only hotels). The hotel is located a short walk from the town approximately 20 minutes at a slow stroll. It was so nice to visit the town as it wasn’t touristy at all. Gave a real feel of how locals live day to day. The food we had at the hotel was excellent with plenty of choice, with top quality food served. Although the pool was still cold, too early in season it was nice to take a dip to cool after the sun. The massage was excellent at such a reasonable price don’t know why I only had one. I would recommend this as one of the top places I have stayed and as mentioned at the beginning we will be returning.

Pros: - Very clean throughout (inside and out) - Wide selection of breakfast - Smooth check in and check out - Easy manoeuvring within the hotel complex - Comfortable beds - Beautiful scenery by the pool and on the beach Cons: - Minimal amenities - Swimming Pool was freezing despite the weather being really warm - If you don't have all inclusive, the restaurant is 35 Euros PP which is quite expensive - There were no sockets in our hotel room (only for the TV) and it didn't have the usual European socket so we had to buy an adapter at a shop 15 minutes walk away. - They initially gave us room without a balcony but did upgrade us immediately when we asked. - There weren't any luggage lockers - The staff at reception were helpful but didn't seem too friendly/welcoming - There were a lot of mosquitos making it difficult to sleep

Nice location close to the Trapani city and not so far from Erice. Rooms quite nice, delicious sicilian food. Private beach is not so big but well maintained. Swimming pool in front to the beach and close to the external restaurant. Very nice SPA and perssonell very well prepared. Massages are not expensive at all. Friendly reception team and professional hotel management.

Don‘t go there except you ONLY care about the beach and swimming in the sea. Rooms are extremely tiny, mattresses are completely worn out, pillows hard as a rock, you hear everything from the hallway, rooms right, left and above and the loud elevator makes you jump up as if it stops directly in your room. No way to have a good nights sleep! Breakfast only starts at 7:30, but who cares about horrible coffee, tap water, canned fruits and powdered eggs anyway. You can get an acceptable coffee and bottled water at the pool bar, but you have to wait til 9 am an pay for it. Pool is open between 9 am and 7 pm where you can enjoy very loud music all day long. It only stops during feeding time for dinner, which you have to book in advance without knowing what you will get. The loud music continues at the pool til late evening.and it affects the area at the beach as well. No quiet relaxing moment all day long. Yes, we tried to check out earlier and leave this place and we could have done that, but without any refund for the remaining days. It’s hard to really argue if there is nobody who speaks English good enough to understand your complaints. Luckily we have a rental car to escape during the day and evenings which most of the unhappy people here don’t have! I would NOT recommend to go there if you don’t want to be guided like a herd of sheep: now you can have breakfast, now you can go to the pool and beach, now you have to listen to what shouts out of our music boxes, now you have to go to dinner, listen again, go to bed …
