Logis Hôtel la Demeure du Perron

Quirky Logis with rooms in motel arrangement and breakfast in a separate stone building. There are large gardens in which you can wander which is pleasant on a hot day. We had a comfort room which was fresh and clean with good facilities in the bathroom. The room was well supplied with lighting and hooks. Our first floor room was at the end of the gallery which was a good thing because it was warm and you needed the window open, but the other rooms would have had people walking past. There are no extras in the room like fridge, kettle or safe but the price is reasonable on that basis. The breakfast was 12 Euros and was a good continental style with ham and cheese but no eggs. Despite being very central in Quetthou it was peaceful, and very handy for Barfleur and St Vaaste. The staff were welcoming to their lovely place.

We were fairly lucky to find this place ( last week of February is a holiday one in this part of France). We didn't expect luxury at the very cheap price we were offered, but we surely didn't expect the manager to be awaiting us as we arrived, showing us the car parking space, our room, asking us whether we needed help in booking a meal...The buffet breakfast was excellent value for money, and again charming service, help and information. The room itself was pretty basic, but just for the one night: and in the end, there was everything one needed. Three minor points of this room which just happened to be the one for disabled guests. The front door was not easy to close and lock from the outside, the wifi was hopeless (great in the breakfast room) and bathroom was much too big for the single radiator.
