The best thing about this guest house is the central location. It is right next to the harbour and the hustle and bustle around it. However, the whole time we were in the hotel we felt like we were intruding. The room was spartan and rather stuffy. You can’t make a cup of tea in your room. There is a kettle and tea bags in the communal area but at 8pm the kettle is removed so too bad if you feel like a cuppa after that in your room. Breakfast was so so. A few more pots of jam to go round all the tables might be an idea instead whipping the preserves from in front of the (paying) guests as they eat their breakfast. Didn’t use the little pool in the garden. The cover seemed to be on it most of the time although some people used it for dips in the late afternoon. Not the most relaxing place I ever stayed in.

Le Secret is a significantly over-priced guest house. While the rooms photograph well, the service is lacking. Breakfast is an extra, linen was not changed during our stay (5 days), towels were changed only once. No air conditioning and one of the rooms we had did not have windows, so the family using that room had to sleep with the door open! This is not what we were expecting. Unfortunately, the owner is clearly taking advantage of the location. At half the price it would still be expensive.

The best experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the one I got to stay in for one of the nights was probably the most chic I've ever seen. (Black and gold with brown wood) Each room is different but they all have exceptional design and they're also large with high ceilings which I loved. You feel special staying here. There's a beautiful garden/yard with a pool and eating out there is a true pleasure. I went with friends and we had such a magical time. Also, the location is ideal and as a guest, you can get discounts at some local shops. Perfect for couples, solo, or with friends. We can't wait to return.

Nous avons passé un séjour mémorable dans cette maison d’hôte, l’emplacement au cœur du village est idéal, l’accueil était parfait et les petits déjeuners sont excellents. La chambre, au calme, était très joliment décorée et lumineuse. Nous reviendrons !

Une merveilleuse expérience dans une maison chaleureuse rénovée avec beaucoup de goût nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous avec des hôtes d’une grande gentillesse et de très bon conseils Le petit déjeuner était parfait bien copieux avec de très bon produits tout ce qu’il nous fallait pour bien commencer la journée . La chambre était tres agréable , le lit tres confortable avec des coussins bien moelleux tout ce que nous aimons nous reviendrons c’est sûr 😊

Super expérience dans cette maison d’hôte ! L’emplacement est parfait avec de jolies vues ! Le service est de très bonne qualité et le petit déjeuner et délicieux ! De bons conseils pour une jolie visite de l’île. Un grand merci au gérant et son équipe !
