머큐어 센소리아 드 생 라리 술랑

Five friends and I spent an excellent few days in this wonderful hotel. Firstly the booking and liaison with the hotel staff (Anna) was faultless. Upon arrival every member of staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable and easy. Our focus of the trip was to do some of the iconic Tour de France mountains and the hotels location didn’t disappoint. Everything was a stones throw away. The staff catered for our trip, ensuring that we were fed and watered. I cannot comment highly enough on the food at this hotel. It’s simply stunning. We were fully fuelled each day with a lovely buffet breakfast. The evening meal was top notch with a large selection, from a BBQ to a nice buffet (3-4 deserts!!). The rooms were spacious with a great shower and a nice balcony. Bike storage was perfect in a basement lockup. If you are looking to do Azet, Peyresourde, Peyragudes, Horquette, Apsin, Pla d’Adet etc then this is a great base. I’m sure we’ll be back and will make use of the spa facilities next time. Our Tour de France cycling company booked this hotel for us as part of our weeklong bike trip. We stayed here for 3 nights. Unfortunately the rooms do not have air conditioning and were very hot in July. There is a fan in the room but it did not provide much relief. We could open the balcony door to let some air in, but with no screens on the door we also let bugs in. As a result we did not sleep well here nor did the other group on the tour with us. The breakfast offered a nice spread. There was a very large bike tour group at the hotel at same time (about 70 riders) which made the breakfast room quite crowded. Only one of the three coffee machines was operational - so we found ourselves waiting a long time for coffee in the morning. We ate dinner at the hotel one evening and enjoyed a very good meal. The entire hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant served good food. The room smelled very musty so thankful I was there only one night.

Had three wonderful nights for the second year in a row in this lovely hotel. Check in was effortless and the staff were very friendly and polite. We had dinner in the hotel on the first night of the three which was superb. Breakfast is a very full buffet with cooked options and is delicious. The room was large with balcony and sofa area and the bathroom and shower were clean and comfortable. The bathrobes and slippers were a bonus. I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like. Thoroughly recommend the Mercure at St - Lary which is also a lovely place as a base for walking in the Pyrenees

Great location in Saint Lary A great location walking distance to the centre of town and the cable car. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious buffet breakfast and dinner.
