My husband and I booked the King Deluxe, and upon inspecting the room, I can see that the furniture was not cleaned, it was old and dusty and had stains on it. The carpet looked like it hadn't been clean in years. The room had a bad smell to it, the bathroom area was pretty decent. I've stayed at Ameristar a few times, and I can honestly say, this was one of the worse experiences I had staying there. Ameristar PLEASE DO BETTER!

It was a good visit for a night stay

Everything was great, service was wonderful, the place was clean, fun place to be. Liked that you needed your key to get in the elevator.

This was overall a horrible stay. It started off we had to wait an hour and 45 minutes to check in because the rooms were not ready yet. I asked if we could have late check out and was told they could NOT accommodate that due to the number of check ins the next day. When we got to the room we later discovered that the main door did not shut all the way leaving the door open not safe at all. All of the tv channels did not work and the toilet paper holder fell apart . My mom was laying down and discovered there was blood stains on her sheets. We called a manager who came up and gave us sheets and called maintenance to fix the door. The manager said that they would take something off our bill , later to find out that was a lie. We went to dinner at Bugattis which is a steak house on the same property and ended up having to send back all three steaks as they were to tough to eat we couldn’t bare it. Fast forward to check out. I was told I still owed for service fee. I asked if there had been a discount applied and was told no because I booked through a third party and the hotel could not make any adjustments. I was given a voucher for thier restaurants that is good for 30 days AS I WAS LEAVING. never again I can not believe what all went on. I’ve stayed at better motels.

It was over priced with no amenities such as microwave pool or spa. Which was the reason for even booked.horrible stay will not book again

We stayed for my bday last wknd & i am still si disappointed. Couldnt get reservations to eat, pool that i was tild was all year round was closed, the room needed updating badly. I could have saved all kinds of money staying @ embassy suites and got free breakfast and a pool and hot tub. The ****** was way to hot and stuffy the only good thing was the bath tub. I spent way to much money to be this disappointed. They still have not released my deposit. For the price they should at the very least have room service. I give them an overall 2 out of 5 and thats only because of the bathtub.

Everything about AmeriStar is great the rooms the ******, and it’s in a safe area my favorite place to stay in Saint Charles

I always enjoy my stay. Only two things, First, no safe in the premium suites which is the newly remodeled rooms. Second, my dining experience at Amerisports was poor. The meat used for the burgers is not the best. Would never order a burger again from there. But, I would never eat there again after the male waiter serving me rushed me during my entire dining experience and at the end never asked if I saved room for dessert or wanted any dessert. Just ended up bringing me the check.

Always a great stay! Love coming to the Ameristar ******! Only draw back was the restaurants not being open, only 1 or 2 choices this night.
